    The only issue is that you did not continue the solution to its completion…. There are six roots in all, not just the two given. This stems from the fact that x^3 =1 has three roots (1, -.5 + i*(√3)\2, and -.5 - i*(√3)\2 ) …. and similarly, x^3=-8 has three roots (-2, 1+i*√3, and 1-i*√3 ). As this is a 6th order polynomial, it has six roots.
