10 years later a few of us play grid auto on iOS with controller I play on my lunch break actually or when I'm at home. I wish they'd put a newer srt and any corvette in there. We got a boss 302 need 2 more lol

I think of I had to rank these games, 5 would definitely be Cars 2. I never played it and honestly, I don't really want to. It seems like a worse version of the Cars 3 game with missions that don't even seem fun to play, and I've heard horror stories of the London map in Battle Mode. Apparently there is no proper ending to the game either, it just stops. I do like the variety of characters though. 4. Cars 3: Driven to Win. I have actually played this one and it's definitely alright and the hard mode is actually hard, you will not beat it on your first go and it's got an ok story but it feels a bit empty. And once you beat the game, there's nothing really left to do because anything you can do is far too easy. The only times I still play it are when people come over and we do multiplayer. We go to the Thomasville playground and muck around firing rockets at each other. 3. Cars Mater-National. I have very neutral feelings on this. I never played it but I know that it's very similar to the original game and Race-O-Rama. The overworld map is much more linear to accommodate for the new tracks added to the game. The graphics are a big improvement from the 2006 game, but to be completely honest, I really liked the graphics of the 2006 game and for some reason, I prefer them over Mater-National, so it isn't really a point in my books. The story from what I've heard is that McQueen and Mater are hosting an international racing tournament in Radiator Springs and you need to work your way through the game to beat the foreign racecars that you invited over. Which honestly seems a little mean. "Hey, you wanna come over to Radiator Springs so I can whoop your ass in every race?" (That isn't a criticism, I find it funny). I did also like the little gag with the Japanese car not speaking English. Japanese racer: "Kon'nichiwa" Mater: "Kon'nichiwa!" Lightning: "Mater, you speak Japanese?" Mater: "Well sure, don't everybody?" What was sad though was that some characters from the film and previous game were absent in Mater-National, like Sally, Mack and Chick Hicks. 2. Cars Race-O-Rama. Chick Hicks returns, already a W. But in all seriousness, it is a pretty good game. Chick Hicks and Lightning McQueen are in a competition to see who's racing academy is best, so they do a race across different environments to see who has the better racers and of course, McQueen thrives in all races. There's speedway racing, beach racing, off road, street/drift racing and Mater has his own side story where he's confronted by his old rival, Bubba. Bubba challenges Mater to a competition at the Rust Bucket Race-O-Rama and whoever wins gets towing rights to Radiator Springs. Naturally, Mater wins the demoltion race held at the Rust Bucket and Bubba does the typical monologue of "You haven't seen the last of me. I'll get you if it's the last thing I do." Overall, it's a pretty good game and I did play it when I was about 6-8 before losing the disc until I got it on the PS5 last year, and I played through ot twice and it still holds up quite well. 1. Cars the Video Game (2006) This game is the first video game I ever played, all the way back in about 2013 when I was about 4. I was never any good at it and I didn't beat it until I was about 6 or 7 but it was an incredible game. It follows from the events of the film and has McQueen training to win the 2006 Piston Cup (the season we see in the film was the 2005 season). McQueen goes around town training with the people of Radiator Springs. He does a military assault course wirh Sarge, he goes Tractor Tipping with Mater, he does a few races with some British racers for some reason, he has drifting lessons with Doc, and then he goes back to the Piston Cup for the first race of the season. This game is split into 5 chapters, and at the end of each one, you have a Piston Cup race. Before each of these races, you do lots of circuit races around Radiator Springs and all kinds of challenges like collecting tyres with Luigi, testing out Fillmore's new boost forumla, or racing against Sheriff. The story has a little bit of conflict after chapter 3 where the Tuners (DJ, Boost, Wingo and Snot Rod) show up at Tailfin Pass and challenge McQueen to a race. Lightning wins and the Tuners run off to plot their revenge or something. Chick Hicks is fed up of McQueen winning all the time after he wins 3 races back-to-back. Chick hires the Tuners to raid Mack's truck and take McQueen's stuff that he needs for his next race. Sheriff finds out about this and alerts McQueen. Sheriff says he'll catch them but McQueen protests and finds them himself. Lightning is successful and the 4 of them are locked away in the impound. They explain how it wasn't their idea and that some car paid them off. "Some green race car, I dunno, he had a moustache." "Ah, Chick." When Lightning arrives at the next race, Chick is surprised to see McQueen there. "What's the matter, Thunder? Didn't expect to see me here?" "What? Miss the big race? You weren't thinking of pulling out, were you?" "Oh you know what I'm talking about, Chick." McQueen wins that race (naturally) and he and Chick have an arguement after the race ends. Chick challenges McQueen to a race at the exact track they just raced at the next night, McQueen declines but offers up his own challenge: "The Radiator Springs Grand Prix. Three races, one in each part of Ornament Valley and ending with one last Piston Cup race." The RSN (Racing Sports Network) agrees and, of course, McQueen wins in all 3 Radiator Springs races and wins the Piston Cup that season. 10/10 game and easily the best in the series. It actually feels like a sequel to the film, much more than the film's actual sequels did.
