What is unfortunate is that someone with this much talent didn't write the lyrics in such a way to teach or help the average person. In order to escape the soul trap of returning here, one must leave the past in the past. One has to live in the present and not in the mind. Your mind a a good servant at best. The world is a stage and everyone plays their part with a mask on. What is important is to step outside the movie you are in and turn it off. Then you realize it was all on a screen. If you get stuck in the soul trap you will return here. Everything you need is within you... You don't need a 'spiritual guide' to tell you you need to return here for any reason. You can find your own way. If you want to find the way, listen to your soul, not your mind.
past perception = memory, direct perception = the present. For freedom, direct perception is mandatory. There is no other way to come into reality than to step out of the mind. It is to see life in the present not thru the past. The soul trap is to repeat the cycle over and over to be reborn here. There is something that someone believes to be true to get stuck in the loop. Until they wake up from that belief 'the illuusion' the soul trap effect will repeat itself with that soul. What i find slightly remarkable is whomever wrote this song remember, knows this.
