Great interview. You asked some really great questions. I came across the tradition of Buddhist/Daoist hermits through Jack Kerouac's The Dharma Bums, which in turn led me to Red Pines translations of sutras and Road to Heaven. It's not a topic that gets discussed often, but when it does, I soak it up.Thank you.

I think its important to mention, though they'll probably get into it later, that another *unhealthy* adult could not want to be with the person in the first example either - which is to say, if you appear overly needy, and youre told by a partner about it, you might be, OR, that might their perception of you based on their own attachment trauma rather than frank reality. I kinda think this all goes without saying but i have encountered so many of us who get more or less tricked by the faulty assumption that the other person were in orbit with is the "healthy one" .. we are more of us insecure than not, so ..question that assumption yall

Thanks so much Jake and Machiel for this amazing podcast! I read a book about 40 years ago, on Creative Dreaming by Patricia Garfield (1985?)! So I know one can have this constructive dialog between one's dream, and oneself. Strangely I never worked with my dreams for some reason. The wierd thing is that it is our mind that produces the dream we are an actor in! Is this all exhaustively explained by Carl Jung and the workings of the collective unconscious (which I haven't read unfortunately) or is there more to it as Bernardo Kastrup seems to think? Fascinating.. 🙏🌿

I feel that, besides her growing up isolated from a wider society, very probably Lorna's brain is wired differently (this is why she has dyslexia) so she can perceive the energy world without the interference (structure) of the left brain (in full command). Thank you for a great video! I'm a Psychology student at the University of Oxford and this interview is very helpful for my social psychology revision.

It’s utterly astonishing to me that she is talking about God and seeing Him, and instead of going three layers deep with follow up questions and asking, “What does He look like?”, “What does He smells like or think like?”, the interviewer asks about “Yoga” and “mystical experiences”. I can’t fathom it. I just don’t understand.

I do need a laptop ho wever. But, will just say thank you , you don't need to Brother thinking about it . I am very touchead ( bowed ) that there are still people who are sincere in serving God path , which up until now I felt was just a delusion ( hoax ) . So my suggestion ,let's start a good collaboration . Later I will try to send the video ( content) to your account . My closenes to this being of God light ( The Angel Michael) is a fact , and God the Father who is present in the form of radiant white fire . It ill started when the Lord Jesus Christ gave me there shoots in the palm of my hand which are called shoots of life. The second time God the Father ( third month of 2024) appears through White Fire , the form of the king of satan ( lusifer ) who will fight me. And the peak will be on the 14th of the fourth month of 2024 , the Holy Spirit ( a White Eagle with the body of a dave ) and a Lion from the clescendants of the tribe of Judah came to meet me .

The most probable place to find a philosopher king is to find such a hermit. How fun.
