Honest Review of Birthright | Did It Live Up To The Hype?
In this video, I'll share with you everything you need to know about Birthright Israel, from what to expect, the itinerary, travel, and pack list. So sit back, relax, and get ready to discover the beauty of Israel.
Birthright Israel is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jewish young adults between the ages of 18-26 to experience Israel for free. The program is designed to create a meaningful and transformative experience that connects participants with their Jewish heritage, Israel, and other Jewish young adults from around the world.
The itinerary for the 10-day trip is jam-packed with activities and sites that highlight Israel's rich culture and history. Participants will have the chance to visit significant religious and historical sites like the Western Wall, Masada, and Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. The trip also includes hiking, swimming in the Dead Sea, exploring the vibrant city of Tel Aviv, and much more.
When it comes to travel, participants will have nothing to worry about as Birthright Israel takes care of all the details. Participants will fly from their home country to Israel and will be greeted at the airport by Birthright staff. From there, participants will travel by bus to all the different destinations on the itinerary. Birthright Israel takes care of all accommodation, transportation, and most meals during the 10-day trip.

OCEAN TO LAKE TRAIL HIKE | 61 miles of Florida Everglades
zhlédnutí 3KPřed rokem
In mid January I backpacked the Ocean to Lake Trail over three days. The trail starts at Lake Okeechobee and ends at Hobe Sound Beach, and is a spur of the 1200 mile Florida Trail. The hike consisted of a 19 mile day, 25 mile day, and a final 19 mile day. If you're going to do this hike I highly recommend doing it in January to April as these are the driest times in this part of Florida. In mid...

E-bikes aren't that heavy - typically in the 50lbs range. Some fat-tire or cargo models do hit 80lbs. But, you're right, after the battery is gone, an e-bike is harder to pedal. But, my new Aventon Ramblas has been tested to 105 miles on the lowest assist level on level paved trail- although it is rated for 80 miles.

There are many apps that use gps to tell you when you are on vs off trail. They have become ubiquitous to the point many people never learn how to read maps. I think it’s a good idea to use a map and then reference the gps to confirm decisions. Of course there are trail markers every 150 feet or so to tell you you’re still on trail. I don’t know of any hiking groups around here although there probably are if you go to the Jonathan Dickinson park office. They’re always having events. Maybe try a loop trail in jd first

Colonial settlers almost always eliminate the Natives in order to better rape and pillage the natural resources and steal land exactly like what happened in 1947-1949 and continues to happen in the West Bank. Messianic colonial settlers are killing non-Jews almost every day there. This has been widely reported (even in the New York Times, a pro-Israeli newspaper). The world is witnessing the bombing of Gaza in real time as there are still reporters still alive and UN aid agencies still present there. Over 100 UN aid personnel have been killed and 94 journalists have been killed since the bombing started. The true colors of the Israeli apartheid, fascist regime are there for the world to see. This has nothing to do with Judaism but everything to do with Zionism. The implementation of Zionism on the ground since 1947 is racist and brutal. Shame on Israel for killing over 19,000 innocent civilians. Shame.

I couldn’t believe the girls were able to ride 30 miles with a flat tire. Legendary. Riding normally 30 miles is a good workout

What time of year did you do this? Your average was just under 10 mph. Thanks

It was in early November. Ya with all the stops along the way it was sub 10 mph. Could be done at 15+ mph without stops. I’m not sure it could be done with a road bike though due to the rocky areas

Any idea when all the construction is scheduled to be finished and you can actually ride safely on the wall of the dike completely around the lake? You are brave and lucky to ride a bike on the roads of Florida. Great job educating people on the pollution in the area.
