Blue Pepsi Cocktails… Seriously???
Not the most conventional ingredient we've ever been challenged with, Blue Pepsi was an experience we won't soon forget. It was neat being able to learn the extensive history of Blue Pepsi as it dates back to the dark ages. It's said it was often used as a means of torture most commonly by having the poor souls orally consume the liquid. Anyways, enjoy!

3 Fantastic Sloe Gin Cocktails
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 2 lety
It's true, although Sloe gin was more popular in the Victorian era than it is today, it is slowly making a comeback. Any "hipster" bar today will have a bottle of it, and it won't even be that dusty as its popularity has grown over recent years. The combination of Sloe berries and gin make this liquor incredibly unique as the "pluminess" and almost "pruny" raisin-like flavours really tame the p...
Guessing New Hard Seltzer Flavours (Blind Taste Test)
zhlédnutí 188Před 2 lety
We're raising the stakes YET AGAIN. This time, Mike faces a blind taste test of five hard seltzers which he must guess the flavours of. Hard seltzers are becoming increasingly more popular as refreshing, easy, party/beach drinks that are more health conscious as they typically have little to no sugar. We would normally add things to them to make them more complex for our videos, but this time w...
How To Make a Butter Fat Washed Cocktail with Maple Whisky
zhlédnutí 956Před 2 lety
Butter in a cocktail? Yuuuuup! It's really not as weird as it sounds. Butter washing/fat washing is a technique used to incorporate the flavour of whatever type of "fat" is used, into whatever liquor you are using. You can use fats like butter, a good quality smoked bacon, or an oil (olive, peanut, or sesame). Regardless of what type of fat is used, the technique to incorporate it is pretty wel...
The Best Sangria You've Never Had... Probably
zhlédnutí 27KPřed 2 lety
Have you ever purchased a bottle of wine that was maybe somewhat inexpensive and thought to yourself, if I don't like it I can just use it for cooking? Well, the good news is there is a great easy way to still be able to enjoy drinking it. Sangrias are a great way to use up a bottle of wine that may have been open too long (if that's even a thing) as well as fruit that may have seen slightly be...

In this video, Mike makes a new version of the "Spritz" that is sure to leave you wanting more. Keeping with the easy, refreshing, citrusy nature of the cocktail, Mike uses some unlikely but eas...

A Prize-Winning Patrón Cocktail? | Patrón Perfectionists 2021
zhlédnutí 520Před 3 lety
A few weeks ago Mike found out about the Patrón Perfectionists cocktail competition and decided to take part in it. Knowing he had only a couple weeks to create the perfect cocktail, he set to work playing with ingredients (from the allowed list) and after many variations and rigorous testing, this delightfully complex creation was his submission. "The Connecting Flight" was inspired by Mike's ...
Pink Whitney: The Perfect Summer Cocktail?
zhlédnutí 351Před 3 lety
Is Pink Whitney more than just a bottle of heartburn? Is it possible to use it to make an enjoyable cocktail? In this video, Mike tries to answer both questions by making a version of a bramble with it. Enjoy? Pink Whitney was created in 2019 by ex-NHLer Ryan Whitney, and is a "visionary" blend of pink lemonade and vodka. Let us know in the comments what you think about Pink Whitney/this cockta...

Cointreau is a fantastic orange liqueur in the triple sec family. It is made from alcohol, sugar and orange peels, and is used in everything from margaritas to super cool martinis…… like cosmos. We were asked what to do with Cointreau by Alex of Kitchen Island (check her out on Instagram @kitchenisland_) and so here are two wonderfully unique cocktails. Cheers! A Hidden Gem: Two Great Ways to Use Dillon's Cassis
zhlédnutí 262Před 3 lety
With the weather finally getting warmer here in Ontario, this week’s challenge was perfect: Dillon's Cassis. Dillon's, a fantastic distillery found in southern Ontario's Niagara region, produces this delightful Cassis using only locally grown blackcurrants. If you’ve ever eaten fresh blackcurrants, don’t worry - they taste way better in a liqueur, especially in the two amazing drinks Mike whipp...
Unicum: The Wonderfully Obscure Liqueur
zhlédnutí 1,6KPřed 3 lety
Unicum. An obscure but delightful liqueur that is Jagermeister-esque but with a bit more menthol and eucalyptus. Although it is typically enjoyed as an aperitif or digestif, we found a way to use it in two fantastic cocktails. The first is a more refreshing/easier drinking cocktail with Aperol and the second being a stiffer "sipping" cocktail with mezcal. Cocktail Recipe Ring from Inklings Pape...
Kissed Caramel Vodka: Turning a Gross Sample Into a Delicious Cocktail
zhlédnutí 2,5KPřed 3 lety
Caramel kisses. What are they? Nobody actually knows, but apparently Smirnoff managed to make a vodka out of them. In this video, Mike shows you one way to use the bonus sample sized bottle that sometimes accompanies a purchase from the liquor store. In this case it is a caramel flavoured vodka that he turns into a desert style "sour" cocktail. FULL RECIPES: bit.ly/2RCj2AZ Have a bottle that y...

I know my way around beer being a beer nerd but cocktails beginning to inspire me. I like this video, it shows that it's not all impossible to mix by your self. I've just done whisky sour prior to now 🍹
Great Video, Thank You So Much.
🍻
hahaha, It's always good to test to see if everything is correct
Nice. I've washed a few whiskeys and was looking for a good way to use my butter washed whiskey.
Your channel is ridiculously fun.
Go for the classic After Dark. Old fashioned glass single layer of rocks four dashes of chocolate bitters a jigger of Cointreau.
Sad to see its been almost a year since the last upload. Good content

This is perfect
😂😂 Love hanging out with you brother, always looking forward to the next video drop
Miss ya brother
Dude I'm dying here 😭😭😭😭
Just a thought, would rum instead of scotch work?
Why not!
I use 43 when I need orange. It has a vanilla component too, that may not work with everything, but it's pretty versatile. Enjoy your videos. Really liked the pee break commentary! For the names, how about Pineapple Whiskey Sour? Your second drink is a variation on an Orange Blossom; can't think of a good name off the top of my head. Cheers from Indiana!
Now THAT'S a drink! I just made one and added a shot of cristalino tequila, Mexican orange liqueur (43 would be good and a little sweeter) orange bitters, topping off with lime Topo Chico. Super! Love the gin idea!
Or a Christmas special ft. warm drinks like spiked eggnog, mulled wine, etc. And for a bonus challenge, do something with Crème de Menthe + candy cane garnish. I mean... I'll never drink it... but, a challenge is a challenge. XD
Yeah right you'll never drink it! :D
No pomegranate garnish, eh?
Mmmmm LYCHEEEEEE....
Do one for Dutch ice tea please...
