This brilliantly concise demonstration reveals and solves the most common root cause(s) of blade wobble, which saved me (and others around me) a lot of valuable time. It’s extremely hard to purchase Lapidary equipment in Canada and absolutely no financing options. Mostly I find and refurbish old units, but they are difficult to find!

Good video. I’ve had one of these for a couple months now and it is a well built beast of a machine. I have had an issue with the belt suddenly shifting full left or full right for no apparent reason. Any suggestions? I’ve watched all your videos but one thing that would be very appreciated and helpful would be some basic troubleshooting videos for common issues. Thanks

Every vid should include parts/Items needed . This is to fix a EC unit leaking from drum hole that simply reducing pump flow doesnt address. A long 5/32 Allen wrench is needed to lossen or tighten the drum to the shaft. Tube of Ultra Black (oil resistant) silicon sealant to reattach the bottom ring. JB weld regular and finally brake cleaner to remove mineral oil before applying the JB weld. Steps. remove power, remove drum, remove bottom metal ring, clean out any oil, apply JP weld along outer ring (not the access port to the motor), Allow to dry ?, apply Ultra black and reattach metal ring, reinstall drum and lid, add power then test.

Your first customer comes across as a pedo. Just saying.

I have another trick. Epoxy. Epoxy a piece of wood to the rock (JB Weld). You now have a regular surface to clamp to.
