The special cloth thing is beyond dumb. If that screen is in danger of damage, if I gently clean it with a microfiber cloth, then it's too fragile to be out in the real world.

A word of caution. Do not leave the pencil attached to the iPad when not in use. Why not? Because the pencil is a constant drain on the iPad's battery, charging to remain at 100% battery even when it doesn't need to. I now keep the Apple pencil in my laptop bag when not in use or needing to be charged.

Thanks but this is not a good comparison, most people including myself usually purchases the base model, especially since iPads costs a lot more than a Mac Book Pro/Air and iPads are lacking in a lot other ways.

I went from the A series iPad Pro 12.9 to the M1 and there is a noticeable performance jump. Made the switch around the time of the M2 iPad Pro so i got a pristine refurb M1 with 1TB and 5G for half the price of the of the new M2 equivalent. I could have remained with the old A series as its rare i ever tax the device as its just a home device for mainly everyday stuff. Absolutely pointless upgrading to an M4 as a similar spec here in the uk along with Magic Keyboard and pencil is pushing £3000!!!

I erased all infos but i didn’t sign out from iCloud i already sold it but i just saw my iPhone on the iCloud devices list so i removed it after two days but i already took some pictures So will the photos and the new pics will still be there or erasing the iPhone did automatically sign me out of the iCloud

I’m looking to buy a I pad , never had one before . How many years will Apple support the M1 ? Is worth buying the m1 ? Only want it to watch films , tv shows , CZcams . As long as the picture quality and sound is loud and better .

16:32 stopwatch had black background before watchOS 10 as well. My old Apple Watch Series 1 had stopwatch look like that in its last update of watchOS 6.

Yep you are correct, Apple did delete a total of four Watch faces, many of them which came out before the Apple Watch Series 4. The faces like numerals and chronograph were from the original Apple Watch ⌚️ in the early years of watchOS. Infograph Modular got renamed as Modular itself in watchOS 10, as the original Modular face got deleted as watchOS 9/10 got restricted to series 4 and later. FYI: The Pebbles ringtone which was featured for the first time in Apple Watch Series 3 reveal with that cellular gold aluminum Apple Watch, is a ringtone which is restricted to cellular Apple Watch ⌚️. Now if we have cellular versions especially on Apple Watch stainless steel and Apple Watch Ultra which comes with the cellular mode already, we can revert back to the original Apple Watch ringtone from the models without cellular (GPS Watches and Apple Watch series 0-2). Which model Apple Watch did you use that has watchOS 10 in 7:23 when you investigated the deleted faces bug?

Brian - Completely off topic but how can I enable developer mode on my iPhone 15 Pro Max in iOS 18 Beta? I have a free developer account but it doesn’t show in privacy and security. Caveat: I don’t own a Mac for Xcode

To be fair, the comparison with the screens which shine best in HDR not so much SDR cause I think you just tested it with a standard video but not the HDR content we should see a difference between the two

I got the 11" 512GB. If you have any of the M series, it is not worth an upgrade for performance. However, one thing that is great about the M4 that people do not really talk about is the weight. It is very noticeable in hand compared to my M2, and especially my M1.

Same concept but create a nested shortcut with different actions linked to different focus modes. Only other way to do this that I could think of.

I have a M1 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2TB model with magic keyboard. The hardware is amazing, but iPad OS has made it the most disappointing computer I own. So, I will never buy another iPad Pro all the time it can only run iPad OS. I object to paying a high price for a tablet computer that is crippled to run in a lock down ecosystem of mostly mediocre smart phone style apps. iPad OS workflow gets in the way of how I want to use a computer. I don't want to be restricted to only sourcing applications from Apple's crappy app store. I rarely use my M2 MacBook Pro these days, because of the lack of touch screen and intrinsic stylus support, and instead have transitioned to Windows 11 arm because I can have a computer table with a desktop class operating system. I know for some people, like my Wife, iPad OS works, and for my iPad Mini its fine. But for scientist / engineer, like me, who likes to run emulators, virtual machines, code using a full IDE, draw, do maths, complex analytical spreadsheets, play games, re-image external SSDs and memory cards, etc, iPad OS feels so inadequate, and an M4 iPad Pro would be a massive waste of money.

My Ultra 2 used to last 2-2.5 days. Since installing the beta I’ve been only getting about 1 day on a single full charge. Not a complaint whatsoever as my series 7 only lasted 9 hours. All the changes watchOS are welcomed as some who still owns the OG apple it is nice to compare that os with the ultra 2 😂

Chronograph is great because it starts running as soon as you tap the complication. Chronograph Pro requires two taps, plus it always shows stupid text like "30 second" or "tachymeter" in a basic ugly font. Explorer is one of my favorites because the minute markers are very clear even in strong daylight. There aren't really any other analogue faces like that. I'm curious if they brought back the ability to see planet names and order on the Astronomy face.

Curious if there are permanent marks? Had that with paper like and it sucked
