Copper City(Rome, New York), and elsewhere. Over 600 videos to browse. Many are free to reuse and download. Over 600 videos, and CZcams (and the singularity that controls the WiFi), refuse to monetize or acknowledge the channel... Going Nowhere. Most videos remain invisible in CZcams searches of Rome, NY, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Five years, and still no monetization. What CZcams does not tell us channel owners is we gotta pay to receive high view counts, and likes. And those are phantoms. Numbers that don't exist in reality. When ya have viral views, figure a large percentage are not people, just a number you pay for. Ever since WiFI, my view count has disintegrated.
Splendid WALKING Trail in Rome, New York.
Stopping at Rome Health, checking-out progress of the new surgical unit. Should of had these contractors, remodel city hall, which is taking an eternity to complete. Wonder if Governor Hochul, will return for a grand opening...if she's still the governor.
Raspberries Restaurant, was originally...Friendly's. And currently have a spectacular breakfast/lunch menu. Another alma mater of mine. Life of Friendly's was cut short, when a limited liability company, bought many of the franchise restaurants. Anything for a profit.
Moving-on to the Mohawk River Trail. A nice neutral name. I think it should be titled the Patriots trail, or The People's Trail.
Many parts of the trail, have great fishing/camping sites. Just keep-it-clean. Those that fish, are the biggest slobs. They leave everything behind. Must be cups, fishing line, and tackle boxes, are too heavy to carry-out. If ya cannot respect nature, stay-out! Stay home.
Have noticed some homeless/transient camps. Have not noticed any sign of trash. The City's Parks Department, does a great job. I don't care if ya live in the woods, for whatever reason, just keep-it neat. No trash can nearby? Then I say just throw-it on a campfire. But don't leave the unsightly trash.
Check-out the classic fire engine, behind the Rome Fire Department. That's where the Mohawk River Trail, begins & ends, depending where ya start.
If you want a epic trail day, you can continue onto Griffiss Airport, via Chestnut street or Floyd Avenue. A Sculpture Trail, awaits you, and you can get to Rome Free Academy school, and Orgill hardware warehouse, or the Dollar Tree warehouse, and Air Force Laboratory, using the trail network.

It's been a few years since I've been to Rome, NY. I grew up in the Utica/Rome and lived in Rome about 15 years ago. It doesn't look like it's improved any. I'm enjoying my morning cup of coffee in Waukesha, WI, and watching your video. Just like NY, I see these adjenda 2021 boxes popping up all over. Rent has gotten ridiculous. A lot of the stimulus money went to slush funds for politicians.
The improvements have been discussed for three decades with zero progress. Though, it seems another low-income apartment complex is to be built along the Barge Canal. Cities love low-income, as the more they build for low-income, the more federal dollars yearly, are received. Just happy with the Mohawk River and Griffiss trail network(federal dollars). But it is hard to retain high income earners to live in the city. As for Stimulus, much was wasted by The People, purchasing pets and cars, and items they just could not actually afford. Stimulus money ran-out, and they can't afford the pet, cars repossessed, or are in debt for what they purchased. Me? I'm looking forward to a round of stimulus, with the near-future M-Pox virus.
Really enjoy your videos. As former Roman I can relate to many of the areas that you show. I especially like your commentary and would take that anytime over background music. I like hearing your perspective on what you are seeing. I was recently in town and the tornado damage is really something you need to see in person to fully appreciate. Keep up the good work. My Grandparents lived in and had a Monument business @1418 E. Dominick St. It's a car lot now. I probably rode my bike a million miles in Rome. I remember the neon Revere sign.

Rome is my husband's hometown, and I lived there for 10 years. We still visit occasionally. We moved away in 2002. When we visited again in 2006, we were quite pleased with how the city had been cleaned up. It looked like a totally different city. Instead of looking old and tired, it looked young and vibrant. Keep improving, Rome!

Enjoy the seafood counter. And I eat a couple pounds of fish a week. What I DO NOT enjoy at Market 32, is their absurd Advantage savings card. All groceries require this type of card, for the purpose of TRACKING YOUR shopping habits. I don't want to-be-tracked. I need some privacy. Sometimes the cashiers will scan, a store-card for you, most times...they don't. And when they do not, I just leave the cart, and walk-out. Their loss. Besides, all those security cameras, give marketing a full view of what shoppers are buying and the aisle shelves with the most activity. So...why the necessity to apply for a grocery savings card??

Was more eager to post immediately than do my...homework on the video. Posted the object to Google images, and found several similar items used for...outdoor lighting. Also discovered Amazon, sells many (knock-off) versions, made in China. These lights are manufactured in USA, as this one was. I imagine the top, is a day/night sensor. Is anyone, anyone at all, angered that the City of Rome, New York, is creating another useless road/trail connecting the River Trail, to the YMCA? Worse enough it already has deviants that "Hide," in the woods at night. It's within a crumby neighborhood. Gonna need lights, and a regular police patrol. Maybe the police will buy a ten grand e-bike for the first Summer, then let it collect dust afterwards.

I lived in Rome my whole life and I was in Florida when this happened. Today I went to see the damage and also to pick up my dog from it's babysitters house. I am so sad that my city is destroyed

We had an EF2 here in Green Bay, WI two years ago. I was in a Taco Bell drive thru line. I couldn’t move. The sirens and phone going off. We only had a couple buildings damaged. Every yard driving home had trees uprooted. My sister had a 130 year old tree uprooted. The root base was 5’ tall. She had people driving by for two weeks taking pictures.
I feel bad for these people. That's a big mess that will take a long time to clean up. However, these people should consider themselves lucky. I've seen EF-2 tornadoes inflict damage much worse than this!

Isn't that what happened to Trinkus Manor years ago? New owners bought it, had a fire, no insurance. I cannot imagine buying either of those large buildings, as businesses without insurance. Have most of you noticed that tornadoes never reported in certain parts of the world, including like Rome, N.Y. have been popping up and causing massive horrific destruction? I have friends in Onieda, and they ALL say, this has never happened in upper state New York! Climate change, yes, but climate change due to big business, weapons of mass destruction used to make the world for us a better place! Yeah right! Mass increase of lawlessness, and to top that (whover) was in to try and assassinate another human being who's views are different. No agreements, selfish, greedy, cities n state, will not be paying for any infracture structure that they don't own. People in shock of losing everything they have. Churches are closing down. This was foretold in Rev. "Her waters (mankind) will dry up during the last days." Keep this and what you see in mind.
Actually, Behind states such as Texas and Oklahoma, and Nebraska, New York is a very active tornado state. This Summer, was just a little abnormal due to extreme humidity, and a converging cold front from Canada. Nothing abnormal or conspiracy about it.
