fun fact: i played this route with the starter ac, it was really fucking hard and jack-o blew my head off and disabled my legs but eventually he ran out of ammo meaning i could just blade him to death also jack-o's doin the nineball thing with his destroyed arm also the "She" is Zinaida

i forgot to comment this but those sand robot guys are annoying, just get a lolng range rifle (preferably energy) + fcs there IS going to be a mission where you have to kill those things AND then fight an ac afterward at some point btw

So, it turns out I didn't know something about the barrier separating Gensokyo from the outside world. I thought it was created to keep Yokai and magic from being an issue with the entire world. It turns out the barrier was created to prevent Yokai from going extinct. You see, Yokai as a concept was initially created in ancient times to explain the supernatural, things we couldn't understand at the time. Thanks to how much society has developed, all of the supernatural can be explained now, causing the belief in Yokai to fade. If things kept going like this, the Yokai would've gone extinct. That's when a special Yokai created a border to create a contained land where society wouldn't develop to ensure Yokai wouldn't be forgotten, creating Gensokyo.
Poor Yokai Powered by Belief I think a good way to make someone believe you is some Cursed Monster Story I don't know I feel like if you the more powerful Yokai just killed some people and someone got that on camera they would remember that but if I'm not mistaken Uhhhhhh the barrier thing was made in the 1500s or something like that So I guess the most they could do was tales And I don't think all the Yokai are exactly murderous They would probably be killed if they tried to help anyone as well
good on you for trying to missile maxx, there are extensions that let you fire EVEN MORE MISSILES id try using weapon arms or energy weapons, this guys build is very much designed to destroy you if you get close so don't let him hit you with the moonlight or exceed orbit or rifle...in other words hes kinda just like a perfect counter to your hovers though your window to hit him is pretty small
I got him to his second voice line so he was probably really close to dying then he came too close and just got me I think if he is just too aggressive I'm kinda just dead I'll try to use Weapon Arms Next time I guess I should have some more free Weight as well then to get that Extension thing
GG well played i kinda overestimated my prediction of part 35, but that was still a very quick victory my best wishes with reimu-C. she is suboptimal for lunatic mode which is why i said it's not the best to do your 1st runs with her should be easier now that you've completed reimu-A and B just remember, try to use all bombs before losing a life. with reimu-C you lose a lot of firepower when you die, so for her it's really important that you bomb a lot and die less, rather than die a lot and lose power this time i predict that you get the reimu-C 1cc by part 55
Which one is Best for the uhhhhh Extra Stage thingy ? is it Reimu-C or B ? I think it may be B since they have that auto Max attack thingy and they are faster but maybe it's C because they have more damage I'm not sure
@@rintlin it's kind of a toss-up between B and C for who is best at the extra stage C is better for the parts before the boss, because many of the enemies are tanky and she can kill them without bombing B is better for the boss, because she doesn't lose as much damage when dying, and the boss uses plenty of high speed bullets that you preferably want better movement speed to dodge the extra stage also takes only 6-8 minutes to beat, so it should be faster than the lunatic 1cc
@@satyman08 Tanky !!!! hmmmmmmm I'm not too sure either killing things faster is always good but having speed is pretty nice as well I guess I'll put all my Points into Power and Just Use Style C Who needs speed to dodge if you can shoot pretty hard unless you get hit

I could probably do that but it's probably better to just spend my resources on the Marisa fight since it would take longer before I could do that and stage 5 is just a power fill-up point then the fight
oh, i know what happened you didnt kill both enemy ac's in the control tower dam mission and ran away instead some of the routes are gated off behind 'hidden' objectives like that
for the record the routesplits in the other ac games arent as stingy/specific

That's like 40 Skill right ? well that's not quite gamer this chart says and 20 which is the baseline for normal mode is the not quite human one or did you play normal mode but gets lots of skill points from that ?
@@rintlin I only got 30 (kind of bad), but I only gave this a few attempts on normal because your video got me in the mood to play it again. I might try lunatic, it seems not too hard with some routing and efficient bomb usage. with 5 lives at Marisa, you can pretty much just bomb spam your way to victory and I think I could do that with enough attempts.

This was the shit back in 2011 or 12 I forget the year but the anime was my introduction and was super hooked since. Never played any of the games
I have never watched the anime I don't think I'll watch it after I finish reading all these chapters either so I guess this will be my main Experience with the story

@@rintlin Against pulverizers (or in general really), you wanna change directions as much as possible to throw off their aiming prediction. Best way to do this is to do little circles with your AC while going in the direction you want to go. That said, it might be a bit hard to do this with hover legs so for them, I recommend getting long range weapons instead of the machine gun so you can use your speed to react to the pulverizer's projectiles from afar. Hope this helps and good luck!

alright, advice for fighting crow (unless you just want to skip him by resetting) -try to get ahold of the SHADE or HOLLOW -alternatively use vertical missile arms (and relations) -do your best to ignore the suicide drones crashing into everything -youre hovering so you dont have to worry about the lava on the floor -drop the blade already, its not going to help since you need to just be doing more damage btw theres also hover-tank legs if you want those

Interesting that Skyrim existed as far back as the first game. I never saw a full playthrough of this game. I can't wait to see where this goes, especially before Todd Howard developed the "It just works" mentality.

Woah. 34 parts in this game is very rough. This is, uh, nobody's favourite Touhou game, to say the least. Honestly, if you want the 1CC, you really should aim for No Miss-No Bomb Stage 1, minimum. Also, you should set up an autofire for mor edamage.

Hopefully you'll get that 1cc soon. I wish this game has better practice tools like the windows game but alas you'll have to do it the old way. Good run though, but yeah hopefully with a bit more attempts you can safely deal with her patterns without bomb spamming.

Great job on getting further in Touhou 2 on Lunatic, I do recommend Touhou 12, 11, or 15, to me those games are kind of peak of the touhou franchise or try out one of the fan games like Fantasy Maiden Wars

I forgot if anyone told you, but not only is Marisa immune when her bits (or Orreries as they're called in Windows era) are up, she actually has special attacks that she uses only if you take down the last one when she was in middle of an attack. I'd post a link but this website can't into links, so just look up information on Story of Eastern Wonderland in Maribel Hearn wiki (for reference this is like my fourth comment, three got consumed by the void).
