The scene in the diner was from Sheila’s final appearance on Y&R. After she hung up the phone in the diner, the episode of Y&R ended, by fading to black with the words “To Be Continued on The Bold and the Beautiful” appearing on the screen. An hour later when that same day’s B&B episode aired, it began with the scene of Sheila entering Eric’s office for the job interview. The way Bill Bell wrote that crossover, with her last scene on Y&R telling Eric Forrester she can be in LA later that afternoon, and then, in real life later that afternoon when B&B aired, and her first scene was entering Eric’s office was pure soap brilliance at its best. By having Y&R show “To Be Continued on The Bold and the Beautiful” caused nearly every Y&R fan to tune into B&B later that afternoon to see Sheila continue her story on B&B.

Mrs. Chancellor was so obsessed with her arch rival Jill and her and son Phillip even long after her ex-hubby died. Winning custody of his only heir, lil’ Phillip, was the greatest way to stick it to Jill.

Jill dropped him off at boarding school so she could have a dream life as John Abbott's wife and a Jabot executive. Her son resented her for that -- and Mrs. Chancellor used his resentment to drive a greater divide between mother and son.

same here! I don't remember seing this either, but I do remember Sheila entering the door at Eric's office for the interview. But not the bar scene.

@@angelscorpio5485 the diner scene at the beginning of this video was at the very end of her final episode on Y&R. At the end of that episode when Sheila hung up the phone at the diner after talking to Eric Forrester, the screen faded to black and the episode ended with the words “To Be Continued on The Bold and the Beautiful”. An hour after that Y&R episodes ended, that days B&B episode aired, and thats the scene of Sheila entering Eric’s office at Forrester Creations. It was a brilliant moment in both shows history. The perfect crossover and written so well by the master Bill Bell. By having “To Be Continued on The Bold and the Beautiful” at the end of that Y&R episode caused almost every Y&R fan to start watching B&B at that very point the same day. That was soap opera magic.

@@trevorbayers2175 wow! Thank you so much for this information. Very interesting and I was always wondering how the cross over was made. I was watching B&B at the time and remember Sheila’s first scene, but Y&R wasn’t broadcasted in the country where I live - I only found out later.

@@angelscorpio5485 your welcome. After a while, Lauren Fenmore from Y&R found out Sheila was living in LA, so she too started appearing on B&B to confront her and warn Eric, her friend about her. That led to many flashbacks of Sheila & Lauren’s past fights to be shown on B&B. It was a great time in B&B’s past.

Jess Walton plays her more boringly, an overcooked parody of the excellent Brenda Dickson videos she must have been assigned to watch for study when taking on the role. What the hell was wrong with Bill Bell and Ed Scott getting rid of Brenda for overact every scene.....and badly.....head tossing Jess Walton. Yee gads. How many viewers stopped watching? The least thing they could have done is offer Deborah Adair a ton of money so she would return to the role if they refused to let Brenda come back.

BTW, somebody out there somewhere must have the actual video of this scene. Please post it.
