@@philthyco1 that's awesome Phil, I'm sure you're going to love it, it's the best 18th scale rig I've driven as far as a crawler, you probably will get tired of the stock tires pretty quick though, they just don't hook like a better Tire that and adding some weight down low helped out a lot

@@whoisjohngalt4880 I think you could do it easy enough with this adapter then just use the barrel plug socket to the positive and negative on the RC car

@@SteadfastRC It does work….i ended up taking the bottom half of a broken 12v Dewalt screwdriver and using that as the battery port and crimping the wires together. Now that I know this method will work I’ll modify the “truck” so you can just snap a newly charged battery to the unit instead of having to plug it into a charger every 15 minutes. Thanks for the inspiration! It looks kind of dumb right now but I’ll streamline it. Lol

Are you referring to the outer bearings?

@SteadfastRC yeah I figured it out, the holes at the ends a for screws to hold the bearing in place

@@dangood6670 yep you got it bud, it's kind of deceiving because the screw heads barely catch the outer race of the bearings

No dude 260 is fine, you can run it up to 285 consistently with no damage, I would guess you're running way too rich now, lean it out a little at a time and tell your consistently running about 270 or 275. 260 is a little on the cool side and if you're using Traxxas Top Fuel stop and buy something better like Morgan Sidewinder Traxxas Top Fuel is total garbage and a nightmare to tune, check out my latest T-Maxx video for more info

I don't have any bench test videos but I can tell you from experience before I had an antenna fall off of a receiver once and I would get about 200 yards before it would fail safe, try it with no receiver antenna and see if it's the same thing if it is that should tell you your receiver antenna is bad
