I run -1.97 #8 resistor during the winter (rattle box) and -0.85 #8 in AZ summers, Normal rattle, but much cooler EGT and ECT. Our cooler months are by far a better running truck. 97 C3500 CCLB

if it doesn’t blow the cap it’s fine. yours must’ve had something already wrong with it. they come like that new. All diesels are supposed too have a little blow by. No way that destroyed your engine 😬

I was hoping like hell this was also a "outboard" kit. Braking performance is great and all... but ease of maintenance is so very important. Like the newer Dana 60s, it is a vastly superior design to have slip on rotors. Disassembling the hub, and banging out studs each time is archaic.

What was the part number for these steps. I have the same truck and want to add these.
