STOP this so accurate im the awkward infj. Had an estp friend that was talking so loud on the bus, everyone could hear the drama she was on about and then I told her ‘maybe we should speak quieter, everyone can hear us on the bus’ because I was never used to it but I never ‘approached life that way’ and she was like ‘eh whatever let them hear’. Most funny person I’ve ever met but I kinda want to be like that especially since I’ve never ‘approached life that way before’, but it makes sense. why care what others think on the bus, even if it is disturbing. I get scared of talking to people without having lengthy conversations but I think even as an infj it’s more logical to just enjoy the conversation without feeling awkward. You’ve captured this so incredibly well

To be honest, you kinda give me Ti dom vibes (INTP/ISTP) Try the enneagram test. It kinda tells you which function you personally “like” more than the others. I think I’m INFJ but I personally prefer using Ti over Fe lol.

As an INFJ, I'be be able to fire someone. Wouldn't enjoy it at all but I'd be as objective about it as possible & act in accordance with the company enterprise agreement (the rules). Also I'd ensure the person's privacy & be willing to listen and/or pass on anything the person wanted considered. Depending on the exact situation, provide a follow-up list of resources and or avenues for the person to be or seek assistance by. So, I'd do it but in the right way and with some respect towards the person & their situation.

My dad is ESFJ and I'm INTP. I remember when I was about 5. We had weird conversations like ESFJ dad: I love you not matter what. Little INTP me: No you love me because I'm your child. Dad: No I love you because you are you. Little me: Nope, imagine, if I weren't your child you wouldn't love me. You would love anybody else if they were your child. Dad: Yes but you are my baby. Me: You don't love me really. We had a couple more of these arguments. Sometimes we argued for literally hours. Like this one. Me: Dad I have a gay friend. Dad: I'm so sorry for your friend. He should have experienced bad things to be gay. Me: Why are you sad? Being gay is not a disease. It is an abnormality that some people can experience. They are not wrong they are just different like me(btw I have autism) Dad: No this is wrong. This is not aproprate to human nature. Me: But why? Dad: It's not normal. Me: I'm asking the reason. Dad: Why are you putting this pressure on me. You are making me sad. Me: Dad why is it bad? Dad: It is a disease. Me: Thanks dad good night. He is a politician and he is so conservative about his ideas. After analysing his and my personalities I finally understand why we never understand each other.

My dad is ESFJ and I'm INTP. We are so close bot he never understands me. I understand him but he doesn't. He want it so hard but he can't. Also I think his behaviors don't make any sense. And he is connected to social norms. They are his all system of thinking. But I hate them. I guess I'm lucky because I have such a good dad but I guess we'll never fully understand each others motivations.
