I'm from Alberta, Canada and rest assured, the demeanor of this customs officer was typical. In fact, entering the states from Canada we get the same questions from the US customs agents. Sometimes they ask the guns and ammo question more than once, and with a few other questions in between for color just to trip up the potentially guilty. Oh, and Poutine is French Canadian. But it's pronounced either "Poo- TEEN" or "Poo-TIN" depending on preference. Both work just fine. Poon- TANG on the other hand....

I did not see this in comments, but on the Valterra valve, that strap with pin is to lock your valve on the sewer connections. One of four pins has a hole in it, that the locking pin goes into. Thus locking the valve on end.

The Brinkley wave is going to replace the Jeep wave! In Canada only Walmart Supercenters have grocery section. When Walmart first entered Canada they didn’t allow them to sell fresh produce or meat or anything requiring refrigeration. Only about 10 years ago did they start changing them in the smaller towns. I remember when my small town got our Walmart in early 2000s and then in around 2013-2014 it changed to offer food. My hometown is only 45 minutes north of Montreal. It had to do with fair competition of the small local businesses….

Our ‘22 KZ Venom trailer came with the tankless water heater. And we had the same issue with trying to conserve water. Ended up changing out to the gas/electric water heater and problem solved. We feel that if you glamp at full hook ups you’re fine with the tankless. But the standard if you boondock

surprised you don't have rock tamers on your truck. i hear that they are a must up there.

What do you do with the dogs when you stop for a quick bite? Leave them in the truck with windows cracked, or in the RV? We have this problem with our doodle.

Looks like you need to add two smaller 1-1/4-inch stabilizers to your hitch mounted bike rack (picture a trident with the main tine being your 2-inch receiver, and the two outer tines the 1- 1/4 stabilizers welded to the rack, with corresponding receivers welded to your hitch or bumper). This will make the rack rock solid. The amount of movement you have now will eventually result in a catastrophic failure.

Love watching your videos! My husband and I just recently retired and we purchased a 2023 Crusader Fifth Wheel and we absolutely love it! Your videos are inspiring us to head to Alaska! We live in the Northeast and since we are still learning our rig we've stayed mostly in the New England area (i.e. Rhode Island, Cape Cod, Lake George, NY) such beautiful areas. What is the name of the place where you were parked by the river near Kingston. I am in Idaho and would like to sit by the river like you were. Can you or someone share the location where that was. It would be awesome if you gave location. I know you mentioned the general area. Maybe tag a google location.

I think it's great ya'll help each other. Don't let those other show offs intimidate you. I've seen plenty of them make mistakes and take out electrical posts, trees and water posts.

Went to the Artic Circle couple of years ago on the Alaska highway, really cool overnighter with some of my closest friends. First time I saw the Northern Lights was the night we camped on the way. The one place that sells gas is also a great place to eat.

We have a 44’ toy hauler - I completely trust my wife and listen to backing instructions. I have a camera but need to get a cable extension for it. We just upgraded our TH with the plan to drive the ALCAN in 2026. Looking forward to seeing how your 31 gal tank does - I have the same one in my Laramie.

Great video as always. My family and I will be crossing into Canada next Friday and just wanted to double check that we have everything needed. A little CZcams search and your video popped up. It's eased my mind a bit especially because we'll be crossing the same bridge and ironically taking our 36ft TT to the same camp ground. We've lived in Michigan our whole lives (42) and never took a RV over so im a bit nervous with foods and such. Thanks again amd keep the great vids coming

Have fun trip. On a trip to the Y in the Rockies in Colorado. We had the Big Horn Sheep near the road way too. To is fun but a bit nerve racking when they are so close to the road.
