Great list ! I would add Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning. It’s an ARPG like Skyrim with a vast open world and pretty nice combats. A little dated but very enjoyable if you like the genre.

Astral Chain is the game I always suggest to any casual player who wants to buy a Switch. Mario Odyssey is the no brainer obvious recommendation. And for RPG fans, get Nino Kuni Wrath of the Whiite Witch.

As much as I would like it to, there’s no way Beyond Good and Evil 2 is coming to the Switch. BGE2 had been announced for other platforms for many years, been delayed, changed on its direction so many times, it’s *not* likely to be released, never mind coming to the Switch. The only way we’ll ever get BGE on the Switch is the original remastered either digital that’s available now, or a physical by Limited Run Games later.

Hogwarts legacy was an adequate game, but it was far from a must play. If you focus on the story and skip most of the side content, you would probably have a decent time

I've been wanting to play Astral Chain since it was released but I don't want to spend $60 for it. I have never seen it on sale in the eshop. If it was on sale at some point I guess I missed it. Most unfortunate. Also, does anyone know what game that is in the thumbnail?

IMO Xenoblade 3 is not perfect. Amazing game, don't get me wrong. I have 145 hours on it without the dlc. But the issue is the very very slow start. Up to chapter 5 barely anything intetesting happens in the story. Also aside from N, M, and Z, the villains are some of the worst written villains in gaming. And there are so many of them. But yeah, combat wise the game is amazing.

I think Metroid Dread deserved a mention, but maybe its just us old guys that have played the Nes and sNes Metroid that loved it. And perhaps a Fire Emblem game could make the list...

Astral Chain is definitely worth adding, Nintendo exclusive aswell, top games on switch should not be available on other platforms, good list though and keep up the good work❤✌👌

Terrible list. I really disliked Stardew Valley, but it should be here. You have Monster Hunter Stories instead of one of the mainline games, and Civ 6 a week or two after Civ 7 was announced.

Switch is truly a RPG heaven. Handheld is good enough. Can grind at workplace
