I’m solo in Japan myself. Only know a few phrase’s in Japanese. Very introverted but not my first time here. Last time was solo tour. Leaving Japan tomorrow though. I’m gonna explore more outside Tokyo next time. Had to readjust my schedule due to plane delay in my long haul part

Random Japanese here, the whole thing about "You're not supposed to eat in public in Japan" is greatly exaggerated. Like if I came across a bunch of tourists munching huge portions of like fast food on train it'd be gross but on street or in a plaza nobody would butt an eyelid 😂 as long as you won't throw rubbish around all over the place. You’re doing great! I’m also a college student who does photography. Many musicians need pictures so maybe reach out to them! I also recommend that when doing portraits, don’t do the countdown, or if you do, use it to your advantage. You can turn it into a funny moment by faking them out (or something along those lines) to get a great relaxed smile. It can also relax you too if you can laugh along. Great on you for stepping out of your comfort zone so much! I’m going to take a page out of your book and reach out to local businesses to get more clients myself! Thank you for instilling confidence in me, fellow introvert!

Wow seeing this was really inspiring. My introverted side is something that I’ve struggled with during my journey in trying to become a photographer. Sometimes I feel like maybe I’m not good enough or that I don’t have the right personality to be able to achieve my goals in photography. I’ve said no to clients because the thought of interacting with strangers scared me. I’ve slowly started to get better about it and am now trying to start my journey again. Thank you for this video.
