You don't have a single position to open it, it can be any height as long as the rotation is correct. And you don't need to spin them after, it will just slide out directly when the solution is found

I'm halfway through Fastmaze2 after about 45 min. There are some extremely cool vectors you can create between the plates when you rotate them. Very gratifying movements.
