I know I'm a year late but I just wanted to let you know that if you keep walking up past the flyover, you reach a huge waterfall in a wooded area. It seems you didn't make it that far sadly. Maybe next time, definitely worth the climb!

Used to live near there in a Village called Rogaro , great place i do miss it my next door neighbour she worked at the ferry terminal at Lenny .

Nice video, as usual. We did the drive over the mountains from Argego to Lugano via Bissone last October. Not for the faint of heart. Lots of places where the road narrows, switch backs, huge elevation changes and the excitement of meeting an oncoming bus, truck or construction vehicle. I loved it. Both hands and feet got a work out. I have friends and family that would need a barf bag! The views! So many quaint small towns. A lot of the 'locals' working by Lake Como and Lugano reside in these. It's affordable. If you're ever in the area.. or where ever you go.. Get off the main roads! See the real people and not just the same pics everyone else has. Enjoy.

The amazing thing with all of these little lakeside towns is we know people live here, yet we almost never see any of them - apart from the tourists at restaurant tables in some towns ! Where is everybody - is this Siesta time ???

That being said, while surely a bit nostalgic (for me), it didn't exactly turn out that well. o.o' Sooo here we are again! Brienno is an incredibly beautiful place and it deserved more than that. As you might have noticed, there was A LOT of wind that afternoon! On one hand, it was amazing because of the water being carried away from the waterfall and falling over the village. On the other hand, the audio is not the best and the stabilizer even had some trouble when hit by the stronger gusts. I still think this was an incredible experience, so I hope you'll enjoy it as well. :) About the * at 12:09 -> There actually is one place on the valley floor that has access to electricity. Its name is San Carlo and it's the last hamlet at the northern end of the valley, where the slopes begin to climb up towards the mountain peaks. There is a cable car located there, which connects the valley floor to the Robiei area, way up among the summits! Because of that having electricity is kind of important! I absolutely love it when there is low cloud on the Lake..and that view over the roof tops is wonderful. I think you have taken a similar shot in the but when the weather was much nicer.

That's why it might sound a little off! :( ] About 15:52 -> the car that you see over there is called i-MiEV and had a UK license plate. Now, why would that be interesting? Well, it's an electric car which was sold in the UK betwen 2011 and 2014, which is renowned to have a very short range (among other things). How short? Well, it's about 100 km (60 miles). Because of that I really wonder how long it took to drive from the UK all the way here, to this small mountain hamlet above Lake Como!
