Just one familys old frontier farm house. I believe it was built about 1830 by the son of a Revolutionary war veteran that got a land grant. I know it was there by 1847 as the neighbor across the street when I was a kid said her great grandmother was born there in 1847. Supposedly they cut all the lumber and fired the brick on sight. Only the nails glass and door hardware was bought. That was several years before the railroad so they had to haul it in by horse or wagon. Also it would have been before the lock system on the Ky river so I can only speculate that the stuff was floated down from Cincinnati and then poled up the Kentucky River to Frankfort where it then went overland. Quite a bit trickyer than running to Lowes. LOL

@@tomthompson7400 it sounds like your plunger and barrel is worn causing it to bypass too much fuel and fail to make enough pressure to pop the injectors. On either it gets over the cranking speed and it’s enough to make it fire as leakage is directly related to cranking speed. If the pump is not turned up you may find giving the fuel screw a turn in might be enough to get it to hit. Otherwise you likely will need a pump head to fully cure the problem.

The Deeres tend to be more heavy duty when comparing similar performance specs. I know of a landfill and a road mowing service that both run 50-100 tractors. They both went to Kubota around 2000 and they both have switched back to Deere they say because they get more hours of work for less dollars with the Deeres and they track it all pretty close so I don’t doubt it. Even back before Covid I heard complaints of extended back order times on the Kubota parts for large items which often put tractors out of service for many months.
