Country music vocalist Jody Medford has one of the lowest bass voices in the industry. He has released three National singles in country music and opened up for such artists as Don Williams, Glen Campbell, Restless Hearts lead singer Larry Stewart, Jeff Cook one of the founding members of the country band Alabama, Lonestars lead singer Richie McDonald, Pam Tillis, Wade Hayes, Buddy Jewell, Little Texas lead singer Tim Rushlow, Lo Cash, Confederate Railroad and many more.
He does Gospel concerts with his friends Michael English, Biney English, and Rick Strickland, and has filled in as the bass singer for the Kingsmen Qt. some of the good ones I've caught I've called seven brown trout over 20 lbs, five largemouth over 10lbs. I like to just catch different species, as big as I can lol everyone knows it's the luck of the cast, I've just been lucky I guess my buddy James Beau Edwards wrote the song (I'd rather be fishing) i own the rights to the music and the vocals.

There's a video of Cowboy Coward reuniting with Billy Redden (Banjo Boy) at Coward's rural home (in the mountains of North Carolina, I believe). Talk about awkward: The two men had never met each other during the filming of the movie, and they had absolutely nothing in common, other than both having appeared in the film. One thing became evident: Coward is definitely a hillbilly, make no mistake about that.
