This is the official CZcams channel of the German Band De-Phazz. The name is derived from DEstination PHuture jAZZ, and the group was founded by Pit Baumgartner in 1997 with the first drum and bass album "De-tunized Gravity". Since then with 8 albums and worldwide tours De-phazz will be releasing their 9th album in June 2012. The music is popular all around the word from Archangelsk to Zurich, making De-Phazz one of the most unknown "known" bands from Germany.

Nice for uploading a live version after all those years. I really missed the vibe of the original take. It seems only the bass was doing his homework and listened to the original recording. The Tenor Sax was completely off and doesn’t fit to the song. Joo signature sound was delivered, I wish he would have learned the original lines from the recording. The drummer should have pushed more, it was way to soft. And last but not least I missed the sound samples from Piet! Hehe
