I was one of the many tens of thousands who'd been inspired to join Labour by Jeremy, despite my having had no involvement or even interest in politics for any of the decades I'd been around - just the opposite in fact! It was only when the media collectively lost their minds over his Leadership campaign, that my interest was piqued - next thing I know, I'd been a fully paid-up Party member for just long enough to get a vote, and was able to proudly reaffirm his Leadership after the whole "chicken coup" debacle! But anyways, to cut a long story short, it was 6 months after Jeremy's anti-democratic ousting that I left the Party for good, after an agreement with colleagues that we'd give Starmer a fair chance - my only regret now being, that I gave Labour under Sir Slime-A-Lot a full 6 months of my subs! Oh, and BREAKING NEWS! - Corbyn has today announced his intention to stand as an Independent in the upcoming GE, in the same Islington North constituency he's served since the 80's under Labour - and there's not a doubt in my my mind, he will walk it!🎉🥳 And with a HUGE majority over who (or whatever!) the Labour Party sends, to boot - so now what our country needs, is for Jeremy to set up his own political Party, so that the rest of us could actually have someone to vote *for* again, instead of just holding our noses to vote *against* - that or even risking the slippery steps of perhaps not voting at all, so PLEASE Mr Corbyn...?!😟 And thank you!✊🫶 FREE PALESTINE!!🇵🇸🇵🇸

The Corbyn project was always going to fail because the Labour Party is ultimately a bourgeoisie servant. It merely exists to serve their imperialist interests. As for Social Democracy, it has slid into irrelevance because capitalism has become desperate to preserve profits (read about the contradictions of capitalism and its monopoly power by Lenin) and Social democracy had to choose their side. They chose their capitalist masters. Voting will never work for us because their (the bourgeoisie) system will never allow anything to change. Is there a reason for hope after all of this? The one time in however many years that there was a chance for someone who could actually bring in positive change, not just to Britain but on a global scale, he was taken down by not just his opposition but his own party. Can Corbyn form his own party and somehow still run for Prime Minister? Would that even be possible or even a viable option if it were? The world needs someone like him in a position of power.

Thanks to Platform Films for this documentary. It raises so many questions. The behaviour of the Labor party admin is truly disturbing. That fact that there was that many people within Labor that were that fanatical to the right. I find it incredible hard to believe that this was an accident. These people need more investigation, like were they being blackmailed? Who were they before the Labor party? Who were they meeting with? Had any of them or there family come in to sudden good fortune? There is something very wrong with this story. I am amazing CC activist joined in. Here we are 91 years later about to watch live on TV the deliberate and wilful murder of two million people because we think they are less worthy of life. 16 years in an open-air prison and then starved to death because they are so called ‘human animals’. What happened to us? Are we so deaf we cannot hear the cries of women and children for help, are we so blind we cannot see children having limbs amputated without anaesthetic, so dumb that 91 years later we have lost our voice to speak against those who would carry out these crimes? So comfortably numb we cannot feel anymore? Are our souls so blackened through our racism that we can watch this crime on TV and feel and do nothing? What happened to us? The government is a reflection of today’s society and what a vile, sad, and sick society we have become! We are part of this crime against humanity through our supply of weapons and even worse, through our silence - just like the cowards of 91 years ago. Silence is the enemy that kills, maims, and annihilates the soul. Yes - we can expect more wars, more atrocities, more unspeakable inhumanity because we have not learned how to treat each with a small amount of dignity, fairness or justice let alone love and kindness. We have not learned to speak up. Have we become that which we despise, and we are happy? You are trying to pick a war with China, what happens if they get here, can we expect any better? Who will speak up for us? I demand that you make representations on my behalf and speak in Parliament to the Australian government of this letter and to stop supplying any, and all support including weapons and so-called intelligence to Israel. I demand that the Australian parliament make it its top priority to vigorously and with unrelenting attention and intention make all diplomatic efforts through all avenues known and unknown to stop the onslaught in Gaza to save the soul of this silent partner called Australia. I was brought up with a strong Conservative father. When Corbyn became leader i actually joined the labour party. It was clear that there was terror of him being in charge as he was a man of integrity and not a war monger. That did not suit the 'rulers'. I have always believed that the shooting of Jo Cox was actually a shot across the bow to Corbyn to 'put him in his place' and warn him of consequences of bringing about a good and compassionate world.
