A Radiated Tortoise eats grass instead of the yummy assortment of fruits & veggies in a dish a few feet away. This small habitat is near the Sanaa restaurant in the Kidani Village section of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World in Florida. Radiated Tortoises get their name from the radial patterns on the plates of their shells. They are not, in fact, radioactive.

“I’m late; I’m late for this very important date!” I’m reading ‘From Dreamer to Dreamfinder’ by Ron Schneider and I had to look this up - oh my wow! (At first I bought the book - found out Dreamfinder read it aloud via Audible - and oh my gosh it’s amazing!) I found Figment in 2020 during quarantine- in just a few short months I have collected the Jacket, the ears; a friend made me the Figment dress, another friend made me a Figment blanket, many plushies have arrived - many tumblers, organizers, my backpack, my handbag, my swim bag my everything is Figment related! I have even shown the classrooms of students I teach (6th-8th graders) the original Figment Ride because I want them to rely on their imaginations and utilize their creative minds! They love it! My favorite quote in the book: When the Mouse and the Dragon are sold in the same shop - THE DRAGON OUTSELLS THE MOUSE!!!! Figment is EVERYTHING to me and so is the Dreamfinder! Thank you for this!!!!
Been looking for this audio, thanks :)
Goosebump hairs x1000
I love "getting away form it all" on East Center Street! Be sure to listen out for the "voice lesson" audio that is sometimes played out of one of the windows back there!
If you didn’t know, these old railroad crossings were struck by lightning and was replaced by real public crossings.
So is that publicly accessible? That's cool
wow my gosh
This warms my heart. I got one of my greatest ideas on the figment ride and it really is cool to see that Disney is giving respect Figment deserves
“No, we’re not gonna see Captain EO!”
Yay.😀😇
Yes.😬
Nope.😐
Uh oh.😯
Uh huh.😀😇
Being at the D23 expo that year and not caring about Dreamfinder and Figment as a whole yet and not greeting them at their return for the event have been the biggest regrets I've had in my life! Dreamfinder and Figment DESERVE to come back again together. :D
Regardless of the audio this is awesome
*WED Enterprises* is perhaps best known for its development of Audio-Animatronics, a form of robotics for use in shows and attractions in the theme parks that allowed Disney to animate things in three dimensions instead of just two. *The idea sprang from Disney’s fascination with a mechanical bird he purchased in New Orleans, which eventually led to the development of the attraction The Enchanted Tiki Room.*
It's too bad Disney and all its money couldn't have recorded this!
I feel like a kid again watching this...and I didn't even grow up with the ride.
MrWarners14 Same.
the feels are strong with this one
Message to Disney: If this was your "testing the waters" for a Dreamfinder and Figment return, make it happen. Please? Even though I haven't rode either version, I still think the Dreamfinder version is a vastly superior ride over the "Institute" thing.
+mondenkindqueen Seeing how the comic they made called "Figment" became so damn popular that it's still overselling and a sequel is already almost upon us, I'd say that they have plans.

I kinda want to see a Journey into Imagination movie/TV series starring Figment and Dreamfinder. There are so many potential creative ideas for stories to tell with them. I mean the Marvel Disney Kingdoms Figment comics barely scratched the surface and I loved those comics already. I see so much potential and Disney should see that.
^Yes! The comics are really nice (I own both hardcover books) but Figment deserves so much more. The only thing better than a movie/tv series with Figment and Dreamfinder? A GOOD OL *HAND DRAWN* MOVIE/TV SERIES WITH FIGMENT AND DREAMFINDER. LIKE OLDSCHOOL ANIMATION
Congratulations!
Oh please do! Congratulations on your position!
That's vibe
dafuq? looks NOTHING like him im sorry
Great tutorial! Thanks to you I made an awesome Wreck it Ralph!
Did you know the only people who knew this was going to happen was the stage manager and Ron Schneider himself? No one else in Walt Disney World (the Cast Members) knew this was going to happen and Ron was called about a year in advance for this to happen.
Pretty sure he described all of this in his book "From Dreamer to Dreamfinder" (which I can gladly see on my bookshelf).
It sounds like this was filmed at different times becuase different engines are on the train
That's actually the Vibe which is the teen club
he also performed in the laugh floor for a few years.
For those of you who grew up with the original Dreamfinder and Figment, I guess this is a way of saying good-bye. To me, not growing up with Dreamfinder but with Figment, I guess it's my way of saying thank you to the character Dreamfinder for starting great memories during my childhood and making me fall in love with Figment: The Dragon. Thank you Walt Disney World and everyone who helped create the ride they have now. Without it, I'm not sure what memories I'd have. This made me teary-eyed!
I don't think this is necessarily a good-bye. Sure, we never got a real good-bye when the original ride was closed down and replaced without anyone realizing it, but the Dreamfinder keeps popping up every now and again ever since this panel. He appeared at the following D-23 when Tony Baxtor was given a Disney Legends award, he got two comics under the Disney Kingdom's banner with Marvel Comics, and he was a prominent figure with other original characters during the 35th Anniversary on merchandise. Personally, I don't think that this is good-bye. I think this is Disney admitting that they have not forgotten him and have plans to bring him back somehow in the future. And, until they do, I'll do my damn best to become an Imagineer and make it so.
@@nickthedreamer4434 - I'll do the Same and help you because these two characters are too much of a great dynamic and originality to be forgotten!! I love these two with all my heart, and I'm damn sure people now will think the same!!
so cool
I WANT ONE !
Wonderful specimen! Thanks for the video!
yay !! they needed to redo it
If Disney kept the idea of westCOT, Dreamfinder and Figment would of been a big hit like when Epcot still had the original. Don't get me wrong, I like DCA and the changes, but this would of been a perfect time to add some elements from the westCOT plan. Or at least bring Figment and Dreamfinder to Cali. I go to Disneyland every year and to young to even have seen original Imageworks but even I know that removing it was a bad move. Bringing it back or having it in Cali, would of been worth it. :/
Dear god I want the original ride back SO badly.
Michael Eisner, do you have ANY idea how big a mistake you made?
It was mostly Kodak’s fault. They’re the ones that made the designs and cut them out of the attraction. When Journey into your imagination came out, Eisner hated it but he had to turn down project Gemini that might’ve revived the ride maybe cause Park revenue was low due to 9/11.
Wasn’t his fault this time.
How awesome! I so miss the Dreamfinder and the old Figment in the Imagination Pavillion!
Unfortunately, I doubt that the original ride will ever return but there's no reason why "The NEW Adventures of Dreamfinder and Figment" couldn't kick Nigel Channing's butt out of that pavilion.
I love the Poly but I miss the old pool.
So many different emotions (all of them positive) running through me after seeing this. I just wish Robert Sherman could have been there...If I could pinpoint how I'm feeling after seeing this, I guess I'd say it was like some of the biggest figures from my childhood put on a grand finale for my childhood's end and all my fellow Disney fans were there to witness it. Truly a monumental event in my eyes.
Hopefully this is a sign that the original Journey Into Imagination is coming back to Epcot with Dreamfinder
Kyle Chang not the original but something similar probably.
@TheOrlandoBureau (Disney fan fail, that's who I meant. I don't even know where I got the name Dan from.) Thank you for the info, it makes it that much more special that it was him and that he gave Figment to Tony Baxter.
Was it Dan Schneider? It certainly looks and sounds like him.
Ron Schneider is his name and yes, this was him reprising his role as the Dreamfinder (he originally did the meet and greet version of the character).
Some photo's appear at the FloridaLeisure Facebook site....
I hope this is an eye-opener for Disney that people want Dreamfinder back! I'm sure if they don't notice when many, many, MANY Disney fans are screaming at the top of their lungs when Dreamfinder and Figment come out together and "One Little Spark" starts playing as the crowd continues to roar... Then its a hopeless case to say the least :'(
