Is it possible for god to regret?
That's a great question! We do know from the Bible that God is perfect in everything he does (Psalms 18:30) and always consistent in how he acts (Malachi 3:6). Luke is referencing here how God relates to us as he gives commands - You're right that it's wise to hold all human commands up to the truth of what the Bible says!
@MountainCC distinguishing commands and where they came from is the issue. all we have is books. books are printed and sold. the authorship you want to claim is applicable to anything people write.
@MountainCC religions are weird. sure there's nice life advice tied in, but they're all weird. mark 14:51-52 is weird; apostles were too "drowsy" to pray, but not so much to run away when the cops showed up. John 13 is weird. why is he using his underwear??

We don't know what jesus want or said because he never wrote anything down. everything that claims he said something was written 30-65 years after he died.
Would you agree if us humans went by what the Bible preached, this planet would be a better place? Or do you prefer us to not believe in religion and keep things the way they are?
What he saying is 100% true. The hardest thing to do in life is to learn yourself and learn how to control yourself. I have personally been going to Mountain for a year and a half, loving Jesus, and caring about other people has changed me so much. Thank you Ben.
