Bring lots of extra strength pepto bismol so you can make it though an entire super duper animation show without running to the restroom. Otherwise, due to the undercooked, poorly prepared, and unsafely maintained food, you will need to run to the restroom and miss out on the super duper animation. If you need to run to the restroom, you can run to the public restrooms on the resort that feel and smell like a sewer line exploded in a sauna. ... or you can run to the toilet in your room that may or may not flush, which is line with the room AC that may or may not work, which matches well with the dirty and moldy décor of your room. Enjoy!

DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! The rooms are old, beat up, and moldy. Aside for a restaurant or two being ok, not great, the food service is awful. Buffets smells and the food sits out forever. Crowded. Understaffed. Shame on the owners and management!

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana ruined our family vacation. Unfortunately, we experienced virtually all of the negative feedback items mentioned elsewhere, including a dump of a room and major stomach illness from undercooked food. What was infuriating was the staff soliciting positive reviews or, worse, taking your cell phone and leaving positive reviews on the resort from your phone. We were solicited for positive reviews. We heard the same from other guests while at the resort. We were warned not to let staff take your cell phone. Each day, every day there are easily 10 to 15 positive reviews on google for ‘super animation’. The resort staff was very persistent on having my phone at check out to ‘check out through expedia app.’ I absolutely refused to hand over my phone, I never logged out through any app, and nothing happened as a result. Save your money and aggravation … READ AND LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Go somewhere else for your vacation!!!

Great place but please don't sign up or you will make an expensive mistake,once they got your money then problems start,can never get hold of anyone,takes 3 weeks to get back to you , everything is money but no service,I joined and learnt hard way so id advise anyone STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I dont know why people even bother looking into time shares, it is a rip off. Just book an all inclusive and be done with it. It is much cheaper than being locked down in a time share.

This is a scam. These resorts are subpar and not worth the money. This is hardcore, hard selling time shares. Senator is a 3 star at best. No service, poor food and alcohol selection. You've been warned.

Love our membership, it really pays to understand what you are getting and how to work it to your advantage. The staff is always the best part of our experience and of course, the membership itself is top quality and worth it in so many ways to us.

I'm a member and would love to visit this resort but we can only fly into Punta Cana from the UK. I've heard that no taxi driver will take the fare as its about 3 hours long. Is this true and if so what is the drive like from Punta Cana to Puerta Plata?
