I own a Voivod t-shirt identical to the one the guitarist is wearing in this video, great minds evidently think alike
can't believe this band isn't much bigger, basically the perfect middle ground between Eyehategod and The Melvins... the vocalist even looks like a cross between Mike IX and King Buzzo

Clicked because of the genius band name, a reference to the Gorgonopsids which are a group of prehistoric "mammal-lizards" (halfways between reptiles and mammals) I find endlessly fascinating. This is really good, halfways between the Melvins and Eyehategod with a really good drummer and fantastic overall sense for songwriting dynamics as well as instrumental interplay.
not bad, can hear a clear influence from late 80/early 90s noise rock bands like The Jesus Lizard and Shellac here
