We developed them in a research institute, so please don't drive me mad! In 50 km from the transmitter you can't use such "antennas" you dreamed of in your nightmares.

These vids could be useful if the builds were based on correct fundamental antenna theory. Unfortunately the creator clearly either has no knowledge whatsoever of basic antenna theory or is deliberately misleading people. Very sad either way. If one is close enough to the transmitter, pretty much any ptece of metal will get you a tv signal.

We're to repair

Some points to consider. 1- Usb cable lenth should be less than 5 meters long otherwise, the signal will be lost. 2- The antenna wires should be 25 mm, about half 2.4ghz wave lenth(25mm ground and 25mm positive, 50mm in total). 3- For sure that with the corrects measures the dish will help a lot with signal strength.
