i felt like by the time of the end of s3 and throughout s4 they had become really close. its so cute. erwin and levi obviously had a lot of love and respect for one another but hange more than anyone else rly felt like levi's genuine friend.
My exact thoughts lol. I also feel like their bond got stronger after Erwin died. They knew they'd be needing each other after all those crazy revelations. 😅 Also, Hange as a friend is really something else. In season 4, after seeing Levi's "lifeless" body near the river, she only have a minute or less to decide on what to do and she didn't hesitate to risk her own life just for the chance of saving Levi. 😭My girl Hange really turned "protect Levi at all cost" mode in that scene. She was forced to kill their pursuers too. Even with limited resources, she nursed him back to life. Hange is really THAT kind of friend. 😭
