So, I'm not sure if this has been picked up on before, but if you start at around 2:43:00 and consider the opening to the descending stairway in the Historical Society as the Gates of Hell, James' journey through the prison pretty closely resembles Dante's journey through Hell in the Inferno. That initial descending staircase with the ship fog horn sound could be crossing the River Acheron on Charon's ferry, which would get him into... Circle 1: Limbo. From there the first jump down the hole would get him into... Circle 2: Lust. From there the second jump down the hole would get him into... Circle 3: Gluttony. Here he meets Eddie again. Coincidence? From there the third jump down the hole would get him into... Circle 4: Greed. From there the fourth jump down the hole would get him into... Circle 5: Wrath. From there the fifth jump down the hole would get him into... Circle 6: Heresy. From there he takes the long elevator ride down that would get him into... Circle 7: Violence. This is by far the most active level. More enemies than he's seen so far in this segment, another Pyramid Head encounter, another Maria encounter, the Abstract Daddy fight, another Angela encounter. From there the jump down (into his own grave) would get him into... Circle 8: Fraud. From there another staircase down gets him into... Circle 9: Traitors. The frozen center of Hell, complete with another encounter with Eddie inside what looks like a meat freezer.

The scare at 11:22 before Day 2 was 100 times scarier than the one before day 3 at 22:45 Day 3's scare at 34:36 is almost comical

First of all, nice choice of game and nice performance ! When i watch your videos, i can feel that you make the player more... realistic (you folllow the game but you act n the game like it's happening in the real world) and this is why i like your Walkthroughs ! I have a question for this game : Can someone explain me the end please?

What I remember about this game is locations... they were classic and fine, sanitarium, theatre, and motel were all nice and distinctive, but what a garbage and story mess it was. Why they just could not remove all SH1 characters from the picture and focus on Travis personal story, yeah they could leave tiny bits of Dahlia and even Alessa's save, but that's about it. Origins didn't feel like actual story origins at all. Also battle mechanic was not as junky as in 2 and more like 3rd game which is nice. Overal I have sweet nostalgia about this game, even though PSP kinda sucks as a console for horror games.
