When peoples faces don’t move, it just takes away their authenticity and real-ness…I don’t like that. I’d rather have the real you, raw, unapologetic, beautiful.

It's the potential for muscle atrophy that freaks me out. Fortunately I've got a great aesthetician who won't do procedures if she thinks that person doesn't need it or it won't improve their look and she's been telling me for 6 years I don't need botox. I trust her because she'll say no. I know whatever I ask her about, she's always going to be honest. I've got lip fillers and non surgical rhinoplasty, people are always surprised when I say I've got lip fillers when the subject of injectables comes up. The rhinoplasty is the best thing I did though. I got my lip filler dissolved and refilled because the rhinoplasty created more space on my top lip area and I felt I didn't need my lips as full. My advice to anyone would be find an aesthetician who is going to be honest and not do unnecessary procedures just to make bank xx

I had a wisdom tooth removal that left me with no sense for weeks on the right lower side of my jaw. No matter how much would botox make me look better, or skin more smooth. I also feel like I would go crazy once my facial muscles would feel frozen. I had a boss, she is 10 years younger than me and has been putting botox on her face since her early 30ties. When she is smiling she is squinting in such a weird way. You can tell that something is wrong. Also I always looked younger for some reason.

Yah was thinking of getting botox for my migraine. I was told it helps but was scared to. My cousin got botox because she swore she had wrinkles. Yah I didn't like her aftermath 😮

Interesting. I prefer the look of the uninjected side - plus I would never want to inject a known toxin - that can not be safe long term. Muscle movement promotes lymph flow also.
