What a pain! I did mine by cutting the harness to the old light, using a chisel to cut off the tip of the plastic retainer up under the roof to release it; and fishing the harness and connector out through the right hole; only way I could disconnect it. Then zip tied it through the hole, and added some plastic grommet on the harness where it went through the hole. If there are any auto engineers listening, please make sure you include a service loop at the end of a harness with a connector-you shouldn’t have to drop the headliner or modify the harness to replace a light. Great video BTW, the idea to reroute the harness to get at the connector was the key

That’s awesome! I used to have an old 95 Camaro and had dual flow master 80 series exhausts on it and now I have a new F150 STX and let me tell you the Flowmasters never disappoint. Miss that car dearly. Although I miss my Camaro, I am contemplating getting the 80 series for my 24 STX in the future. Us women love our trucks too! For the love of vehicles, I always say… Be unique. Make it yours. 😊👍

FYI: Many owners are totally oblivious to the secondary purpose of the standard high wire antenna! The antenna is the highest object on the stock pickup. Therefore, when driving into a garage or low access entrance the antenna serves to inform the driver of height restrictions by scraping the facility ceiling so the driver does not proceed and damage the vehicle.

After wiping down the interior of my car with the protectant wipes from this brand it left a white film on the plastic part. I tried using a wet microfiber cloth with soap but had no look. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

I have almost 89,000 on my 2019 XLT sport FX4 with the 3.5. It’s been a good truck, but the extended service plan from Ford has saved my bacon. They rebuilt my transmission at about 82,000 because of a design flaw, a bushing in the drum that holds the clutch plates moved. Then my purge valve went out. Then I was working in Illinois earlier this year and got the dreaded cam phaser rattle, just got that fixed a month or so back. Oh, and the APIM which controls the infotainment screen went out. They replaced that when they did my transmission. That’s more than likely what’s happening to yours. If you don’t have a warranty, it’s about 1300 bucks from Ford.

I started following you when you had the 06 F-150. You made me feel like I wasn’t alone when working on my truck. Especially since I was on my own and using the Haynes manual and what online resources I could find. I still have my 07 with 350,000+ miles on it. Hi Andrew, good morning. I have a 2007 Ford f150. Two-Wheel drive It has a 2-in lift kit and it has tire size. 285. 75.18 I just finished installing all the new suspension on it front end. My problem is that the upper control arm is scraping against the coil spring. Do you have a suggestion on what control arm can I buy that's not going to break the bank? Thank you.

One thing I ran into while doing the horn swap which is the same process... when you are removing the grill make sure the bottom clears the rubber flap at the bottom. Man was that a nightmare once it got stuck. Thanks for the video

I would have ran the wires behind the hood heat shield so there out of the way so when you close the hood and don't lay on the hot engine parts or something moving on the engine .

Decent comparison but a lot of people use plastidip for emblems on the car and desire how easily it peels from the paint while staying on the paint requiring no knife to separate. Would have rather seens this tested on a panel, not loose emblems.
