Thank you TKR for making this remembrance .. .. I still vividly remember going to Disneyland right after the 2001 Thanksgiving Holiday .. .. Quiet, still, NOBODY in the Esplanade so I just figured it was closed .. .. Nope .. .. Walked through the gate, the only gate opened .. .. Walked up to the entry to Main Street and THERE WAS NOT A SOUL ON MAIN STREET .. .. It was so empty that the shop cast members were outside their stores to say hello .. .. There were a few people in the shops and few others elsewhere .. .. Most rides were closed and we were the only ones in the Tiki Room .. .. We did a lap around the Rivers Of America where we might have seen 10 people total .. .. The eerie/empty feeling just got worse and decided not to stay ... .. In total, we were in the park a total of 30 minutes when we walked out .. .. Sad, and eerie, night .. ..

I unfortunately never realized what a politician the most recent RoyDisney was. No, Michael Eisner was not the be all and end all but since his departure, I find little to have faith in with the Disney company and even less reason to visit a Disney Park i 💯 love Disney but what it is right now……let it burn. They have ripped my heart out and trampled on it.

Someone else remember the first VR we went into as 2-headed humans that did became our own prison ( probably still in in )….

I’ve always felt like Eisner got way too much credit both ways. The good things and bad. In the end, I feel like he provided strong, stable leadership during a time where the company was absolutely exploding in conventional and non-conventional ways. The list of individuals that would have been capable of replicating his overall success with Disney is a very short one.

Pixar Pier While it was stated that these are actual projects, it will be interesting to see how many actually are completed if Disney does not have the earnings to support these "investments" in the park.

Encanto Ride not sure if it will be a real boat Ride since it would fit perfectly if they using those new ground moving technology hovergram or how it is called it would totally making sense since it is a moving ground that can move vehicles persons and in Encanto we also have a moving ground floor in the Casita and since we getting in all those different rooms a boat ride wouldn´t make sense but maybe it could be a mix hybrid vehicle that it is ground moving til the final and than transform into a boat ride in the Boys tropical Room???

But they could have put the Monsters Inc. Land also in EPCOT at the Play not coming Pavillion it looks similiar like the Facility outside of the Monsters, Inc. Building why they don´t want to put it there not sure if space would be a issue.

no Snakes in new Indy Ride but a Mystical Creature he wants to find in that Mayan Temple and perhaps they will adjust the track to put maybe also a bridge in it and new animatronic figure to show the mystical creature Indy may have different interactions during the ride.

I think it was Tyler who said life as a theme park enthusiast was good in 2018-2019 and then they lost their footing at Walt Disney. That is exactly the way it felt. And Wade's course correct comment was exactly how last night's announcement felt. Really appreciated your opinions.
