A nice one day adventure Ride with some nice tracks and embarrassing stacks. Sorry for the wind noise - I will fix it next video.

Great vid! Thanks mate. How do you find the seat height? I’m around 5’10 which you are also? When things are tricky in the dirt, how’s the dabbing for you?
@@46MOOKS I have no issues with the seat height. When stopped, I am unable to flat foot without sliding off one side of the seat, but due to the light weight of the bike, I've never felt like it was an issue. When off-road, the low centre of gravity keeps the bike upright most of the time, so I feel very little need to catch myself with my feet. Hope that answers your question :)
@@DirtNapsAdv thanks mate! Ride on!

Always been interested in the PR7…I’m on an older single cylinder adv bike with a lower underseat tank too, it makes a bike so light feeling, stable off road & in more technical riding i don’t know if I’ll ever go for a bike with the traditional higher tank. Nice one mate 🤙
Thanks mate! It inspires so much confidence and is loads of fun.
Grats - great bike - you'll love it, tho careful they do want to go fast.. ask me how I know.. 😮😊 Tablet is very worthwhile, run the DMD2 software.
How do you know? 😉 Thanks! I think I'll have to sit down and play around with the tablet to get the most of it. Don't wanna knock it before I try it properly
Good video, and I have subscribed. Keep up the good work with your CZcams channel.
Thanks for the support! Appreciate it :)
Who was the dealer you got the bike from thanks.
MadAdv in Ipswich QLD. They're not your traditional dealer, but they went above and beyond to help me out.
@@DirtNapsAdv thanks
Got mine from Harry's Motorcycles at Uralla - same deal, will go the extra mile for you and very happy with mine, does everything I need and does it extremely well.
I love the idea of this bike, but no dealers in Alaska and we can’t get street legal variants imported to US yet. I currently ride a DRZ 400s and my only complaint on it thus far is the small stock tank (100 mile range). Thanks for the honest opinions on the AJP.
Might be worth checking out the SWM Superdual x. Seems to be very similar, albeit a budget version. Unsure of their availability or legality in your area, but thought it'd be worth mentioning.
@@DirtNapsAdv Similiar on scarce dealerships in the US with SWM, but also only one model (not road legal 300 model) offered in US at present. We shall see if things change in the next couple years.
That is very unfortunate. How about KTM/Husky? Might be able to find some adventurised versions of the 690 Enduro or 701. I feel like they'd be very similar to the PR7 once heavily modified.
That is a pro bike
Much Enjoyment 👍😎 Subscribed. Plan to get mine next year, currently on a versys 650 😘
@@skulijakobsson5116 thanks for the support :) Hope you enjoy it as much as I do when you get it!
Congrats on the bike. I had my 2022 model since new.
Thank you!
Solid review of a bike that’s hard to come by that I would love to see the prices drop!! Keen to be apart of the future adventures you have with it
@@IHNIWTFID you and me both. I wanna see more of these around 😂
Nice. I've long recommended starting on smaller bikes. Most of us aren't Chris Birch, Toby Price, etc. My mistake was an R100GS, great bike, but far too unwieldy for me. I kept it for years, but as a commuter road bike with a smidgen of dirt - a waste, really. When I finally tried again, I'd learned, and picked up a DR650. Relatively lightweight, tough as old boots, generally reliable, millions of accessories, cheap enough to prevent tears when I inevitably fell off. Adv became fun, and I quickly racked up 45k back and forth across the ranges and outback. After I killed the the DR (🤷 I know, but it happens) I considered AJP, but was put off by the tiny dealer network. I moved on to a bonkers 690, and am currently considering another 1000cc bike as a more sensible cross country/lap bike, realistically mostly tar, but still handy enough for dirt highways and occasional firetrails, saving the 690 for hooligan and technical adving. I might still be kidding myself. 🤷
@@thefathippy couldnt agree with you more! The only thing that stopped me from just getting a DR at the time was the lack of EFI. But looking back, I should've tried one first.
Some great riding up there.
Yet to find any places that beat it
Audio and visual definitely improved, looked like a great route
Thank you for sharing mate
Hey that’s me! Good to know you’re capturing all my best angles ❤
