Imagine using stealth in this franchise of stealth games
Use cardboard box in such areas like this and when he gets closer unequip the box and cqc him and tranq him or kill him it may seem tricky but it doesnt need much training. Dont use the cardboard box in such unexpected places that will make you spotted in spot like jungle where of course you dont usually see boxes lol

I don’t know what platform you’re playing on, but if you grab an enemy, you can take them out without the need for the excessive stabbing- but as far as I’m concerned, you didn’t get spotted, so that’s a win.

That motion tracker is your lifesaver here in this game! Especially in the tightest areas where the alien frequents most. Keep moving and never stay in one room or area. 💯👌
Finished the game a day ago, had chosen the hard difficulty and I had no single idea about Xenomorph's AI at first, but the second time he tried baiting me by waiting at the tunnel entrance i knew that he was adapting as fast as hell to everything. After that i've hid in places totally random so he couldn't figure my next move. Mission 17 was a real test for me though, i never expected him to resist fire each encounter due to excessive usage of flamethrower or molotov.

This thing trapped me in a room with 1 way in and out and i had to restart the game when if first came out

You're not even safe in cutscenes. When I activated the Lingard cutscene, Xeno just walked into the room (I heard the door open). I had to skip it and duck under the table. I was shocked he didn't notice me.

That's a big mistake many people do. Because you crouched, you won't have time to do these things as the longer you stay in one area the closer the patrol path will become as it will have already searched everywhere else. Notice how nightmare players only crouch a couple of times in an entire playthrough

What infuriated and frightened me most was the sound of the hatches opening, it is similar to the sounds of a growling alien, every time you pass by a hatch it opens and makes this sound that gives you goosebumps)))

Oh no.... lol. I didn't even need to play the video. Every single problem in that area came flodding back to me in the first 10th of a second. I'm paranoid about that particular room after an incident on Nightmare mode where I got stuck playing peek-a-boo for a solid 3 or 4 minutes with the Xeno.
