The ever popular Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen hit "So Do I" rounds off a hugely successful monthly Jazz and Beer session by Bob Dwyer's Bix and Pieces jazz combo of Chris Newman (piano), Bob Dwyer (trombone), Marc Easener (sousaphone), Peter Rudeforth (trumpet), Alan Cresswell (clarinet) and Graham Collicott (drums) at the monthly Jazz and Beer sessions at the Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre, Walton-on-Thames. It was another swinging lunchtime session of trad jazz; featuring foot-tapping stomps, classic blues, Rhythm & blues and Ragtime with interesting vocals. All this with excellent musicianship. One of London’s most versatile swinging traditional jazz bands, the band is always well received when performing at Jazz Clubs and Jazz Festivals throughout the UK.
