I was deployed when this game happened...my brother was a senior this game!!! Was so awsome watching halfway across the world in diego garcia!! My friends and i watched it!!! Love it!! Jared Brite my brother!!!
I had an older couple, OU fans right behind me. The guy was the loudest most obnoxious jerk I'd been around. I was with some friends who were younger who absolutely would have likely decked the guy if they could. At one point during the first quarter, I turned around and said to the wife, "Is he always like this?" She replied, "He's sometimes worse at home!". It wasn't too long into the second quarter that he was a little quieter. Early in the third quarter he was not saying a word. Before the third was over, he and wifey got up to leave but leaned over to all of us and congratulated us on the win, then they hit the road. It was so satisfying for the play from the Cats to silence the loudmouth. And still OU was picked to play in the national championship game despite being humbled by the Cats. And they proceeded to get trounced there too. So much for the "greatest team ever".
I remember seeing this video when I was little. It made me so happy and still very much does. 2021 isn’t a perfect season but I know Klieman will continue doing well and hopefully lead to more moments like this
@@tevinmachart4723 Almost seems that way. The only thing stopping those 90's cats were Nebraska. Hopefully now with an open field style instead of divisions, Kstate can keep them coming after this year.
I have watched this video several times. I think this is one of the greatest moments in college football history I can't remember the first time I saw it or even when it was created originally but one thing in this video that is incredibly awesome is that at frame 3:18 we see #94 Thomas Houchin, receiving a congratulatory hug from someone in a gray sweatshirt. That someone is none other than the Head Coach of The #1 Oklahoma Sooners (that just had his head handed to him) Bob Stoops. How often do you see a Head coach lose a huge game and then show that kind of sportmanship? Probably something he picked up as an understudy to Coach Snyder.

I had just gotten back to Ks from snowboarding trip and was driving as fast as I could, I missed the first TD by OU, initially thought they were going to beat us pretty good, and then proceeded to lose my freaking mind over and over with Ell, Sproles, and Sims getting that pick 6, man it was the best day of my life. Unfreakingbelievable!
Will never forget this night, was the night I decided I wanted to go to Kansas State.
Imagine running into a powerhouse team under the lights of Arrowhead Stadium with a Big 12 Championship on the line…I bet OU was pissing themselves!
