1:35 I still find that bit odd tho... I mean, I get it if it's Edward saying that in a slow, sarcastic way. But, the tone doesn't fit in right. One mistake about dialogue, tone can influence people perception on how the characters are like; to me, it sounds like Edward agrees with Gordon, still, but he is shown to be kind towards Rocky. Regardless, good rewrite.

That’s much better, the original episode pissed me off so much. It would’ve been 10 times better with Edward being the voice of reason and Gordon being a jackass the whole episode. You could’ve added Edward giving Gordon the ultimatum of being rescued by Rocky, or being left derailed forever, which would shut him up. You could’ve also had Sir Topham Hatt punishing Gordon for being a bully and for being careless, and having Neville take over the express for a week, while Gordon was assigned to track maintenance as his punishment. And the workmen also should’ve gotten the boot for not securing the pipes
