You have to try the Dunlop MX14 scoop tire on that track. Dunlop makes a mistake by claiming it is just a sand tire that is made for a bit harder ground also. It should be called the grass and sand tire, because any dirt that will grow a layer of grass, to sand, is supreme hook up for that tire. I have the tire, and am sure you would drop several seconds off your lap times with that tire, and bet a better start. It will not wear out fast on that track. Don't gas it on clay or rocks.

You are one of the few dirt bike riders in the world who is tall enough for that insanely tall bike. 6'4"?

What l learned moving from 125B into 125A back in the late 70's is its either a WFO throttle or its off & braking like a mf'er , be strong & fit to be able to throw it around . I raced a 77 , 79 , 82 RM125 . Loved that era of Suzuki's , nice video thank's , brought back these memories of my teen's - early 20's .

Best dirt bike I ever owned. I did have an issue with the radiator leaking antifreeze once, but for the most part it was very fast and very reliable. Then for personal reasons I sold it, almost gave it away in 1985.

Really brings back memories. Back in the day I had an 82 RM125. Great bike. Really liked the rear suspension.

My best times racing was on this little rocket. Had 81-84 then moved up to 250cc. Shame I didn’t keep them all.

I had the '82 YZ125 and overall the motor was easily faster than the RM but the RM had low and mid range the YZ was all top end. Not to mention the RM handled light years better with the low center of gravity and the killer full floater while the YZ was top heavy and had the old kicker mono still.

Ha I had an 1983 RM125 lol it was a good bike ! However my 1988 YZ125 was the shit ! it had no bottom end but a extremely hard hitting top end power! should have kept my classic bikes lol

Had one back in the day after a 79' 125N, now have a 83' KX125B2 project.

My mate next door had one of these when l was racing a KX80. They were a great bike.. The only bad thing was washing the 2 air filters that they ran. Not that much to put up with to have the best 125 of that era.

Can’t beat the old bananas 🍌.

The original Full Floater suspension was beast.
