Yes, thenproblem exists but there are a bunch of things in this video which aren‘t true. The jumping car isn‘t an ev and the ship didn‘t catch fire because of an EV. You can look this up. So the whole video seems biased against EVs to me.

Last year in the UK 1500 cars were destroyed at a multi-storey car park. The fire was caused by a diesel (not even hybrid) car ;)

Cars catching fire isnt just a EV issue, I had a 1991 Nissan Nomad catch fire while I was driving down the freeway on a 45c day. just last week a ICE vehicle caught fire crashing into another vehicle on Kwinana freeway after it hit a sheep.

here in germany, owners of parking garages, especially underground garages, can forbid parking ev´s there. there was a fire caused by an electrical issue (it was not an ev), that destroyed about 200 cars here in braunschweig (brunswiek) in 2014. since then there was a decision about safety in these garages, especially parking ev´s there, cause putting out these fires is not easy in normal conditions and almost impossible in a parking garage. most owners decided to forbid ev´s
