What i think is: this is nonsense. When i was learning makeup, i couldn't get the flawless finish everyone had. They kept saying to use that little amount that she says to use. I tried everything, techniques, brush, branded foundation, a LOT of pumps and nothing worked. Problem is, EVERYONE, influencers, department store makeup artists, brand reps, ALL say use a "tiny" bit. "Thats all you need" Then i tried using way more product for the finishing powder, and finally started seeing some flawlessness. The last one i did, i swiped the pressed powder hard to get it to release a lot of products. Then i did that like twenty more times to get the whole face covered and THAT was my best trial using $5 elf foundation. I will try it next with a dior foundation next to see how it performs. Something tells me I will also need at least 20 swipes and to get an even flawless look i might need to double that. You are liars. Which i don't understand. Won't you want to sell more product needs to be used 100x the amout prescribed??

Very interesting! I just got this & tried it for the first time & love it! I was shocked after I applied the powder how it didn’t look like… powder… without using a damp blender or anything. Plus I found my perfect shade match! I love this product & is worth every penny

I love this brand and your products, you have great ones, but wow do better how to videos. I guess your trying to bring in the tick tock crowed, but a nice how to video without rushing through it would be fun, and make me want to buy the product even more

I’ve been using this foundation since I was 19 in 2011. When I was using it my skin was combination oily. I’m 31 now and my skin has become dryer. I will say that this foundation does work well on both types of skin using the techniques that Shelby demonstrates, because I do the same. However because my skin has become dryer with age, I did have to change up my skin regime so I can get the finish I use to get at 19 up to my mid to late 20’s. When I started using it it gave me a satin finish that turned into a very dewy fresh, look like your skin but better finish. To achieve that now I have to use a good moisturizer and the original primer. Other than this, I have no complaints about this product and it still is beautiful and looks better and natural compared to a lot of other foundations I’ve tried.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video. I’ve been wearing BM for years, and have gotten lazy with buffing. I took the time this morning to buff like you said and I can hardly believe the woman looking back at me in the mirror. I didn’t even have to use concealer or a bit of liquid foundation to cover the rosecea-BM did it all. Then I went on a dive of your videos and used all my BM products and I look like a whole new woman. I didn’t even know I had this potential sitting in my very lame and minimal almost 40 yr old woman’s make up bag. 😂. In case you’re wanting more content ideas, a BM full face tutorial for “mature” women. You’ll need a model for it obviously since you have the sweetest young skin. Or just mature make up…but like how do we erase all the years of thinking our skin would look young forever? Surely there’s make up for that? 😂

How do you know which shade to use? I'm guessing I'm a Champagne because I use Butter Cream in the Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer...but I could be wrong about that...

Mineral make may look nice, but it clogs pores and very drying on your skin.

If the eyebrow gel is causing your eyebrows to grow it may cause a tumor to grow. What they taught me in school is that the body is normally growing and repairing and anything that is unnatural that changes it can be cancerous. This causes the hair to grow faster that is not normal. If your brows are very bad then I would use it. But for normal people I would stay away from it all unnatural products

Shelby, Could you use a color corrector under bare minerals powder foundation? Or would it not cover it up? I have been struggling with redness on my face and when I put on the powder-it don’t cover the redness, the concealers that I’ve used are too thick and look cakey. So I thought I’d try a green color corrector but I don’t want to do that if that is just going to shine through too.
