Hello! I am Parth Ruchira Rao, aka. Usfer1308. I make Blender animations, SFS Career Mode, The Adventures of Aaron and Ezra, The Ages of WorldBox and some more things. I play games like Spaceflight Simulator and Minecraft too. I have many things that I like.
SFS: Mars Sample Return Mission!
NASA is currently making a Mars Sample Return mission (due for return in 2040 presently) so I decided to have a go myself in Spaceflight Simulator!
We are sending 3 rockets:
1) The Perseverance Rover (to collect the samples)

2) A Mars Lander and Rocket (to take the samples into orbit)

We land our rover to collect the samples, then send a lander to get the samples and launch them into orbit, then a satellite will dock with it and take it back to Earth to be recovered!
This video is inspired by Matt Lowne's style. Tell me if you like it and whether you want to see more videos in this style. I'm new to the voiceover thing so please give me feedback on anything so that I can improve myself in the future!

I found a glitch in Career mode that if you make a ship with a solid fuel booster launch and then build a new rocket, then you switch back the first rocket, the first rocket would have infinite fuel. Warning this glitch only works on solid rocket boosters.
Yes I have seen that exploit too when experimenting with them. Definetly got some potential for some OP things but the issue is that it is very unstable and you cant shut it off or timewarp. I really think that there is something that we can do here...

How do you make a career mode game?
To get Career Mode, you need to create a new world and in the menu, name your world as 'Test Career' and you should have it. It doesn't seem to be working for some people, possibly because it got removed or it might only be available to Beta Testers (which I am). You can try yourself and see if you have it yet. It will eventually be given a full, proper release. You can check the first episode of the series for how I made the world and the disclaimer that Stef gives when you start it. Hope this helps! :)
Wait, what do you mean by season 1 ?
It's the first season of my Career Mode playthrough. While the actual 'Career Mode' part of it is completed, I want to continue the series by doing different missions and visiting the other planets. People also want a Hard Mode version of it so there is quite a bit of things to do. There is a series finale that will happen for this series once we have visited every single planet.
I tried renaming it but it didn't work!
It doesn't work when you rename an existing world. It only works when you create a new world and name it Test Career in the 'Create World' menu

You just need to type 'Test Career' in the World Name and it should work but not everyone seems to have it (I don't know why)

It's not an expansion. It is part of the main game itself but I seem to have access to it while others don't. I'll have to see what is going on

@@restart871 Then you wouldn't get it. It was added in its first stage in 1.5.5 and then updated to its current version in 1.5.6 and then was (apparently) removed in 1.5.10

I thought everybody had it! I assume I recorded it in 1.5.10 but I am part of the Beta Testers program so that skews results. I found out later that it was 'removed' in 1.5.10 but I have no idea. So many others were asking and I think I might need to make a short about this...

That's a good suggestion but can you explain your reasoning why? It seems much more time-efficient to not scrape the atmosphere and why retrograde?

The 'no control' is referring to the stage which we disposed of. (For some reason) It displays while turning and separating burnt out stages.
It might be because it is registering that I am still trying to turn the stage without a control module so it shows the error.

Thanks for the suggestion! For the Captured Asteroid and the Moon, going back to LEO isn't that necessary since we save time and don't have enough speed to destroy the heat shield, however when we go to farther destinations, we will have to slow down to prevent our heat shield from burning up. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah that's why it's a SEASON finale, not a SERIES finale. I have up to 24 more episodes in mind but I have got a new series that I need to finish first before returning to SFS Career Mode, which I will split into a few seasons.
The next season will have Mars as it's focus! And one episode I may do a Voyager style mission!
Also you will have all unlocked as the last unlock gives everything so make a plan on how to fix that problem so it’s not just sandbox- cheats or basically challenge mode

@@RayMapa73 True! It will give the feel of a replicate but I don't think that I will be able to do justice to either game by using the KSP Planet Pack in SFS. Both games are at their cores similar but are still vastly different! Thank you for your feedback and I will definitely begin preparing for a KSP series in the future

How to make a prefect earth orbit plzzzz
That's a good shorts topic! It is very difficult to get a perfect orbit but you can use a trick to get a decent one where you burn until your periapsis and apoapsis are at a 90 degree angle from you. That's roughly a circular orbit. It is very very difficult and time consuming to get a perfect orbit you just use the 90 degree trick and go on. Getting a perfect orbit is just for vanity. Hope that helps!
How do u have carrer mode?
Good question! I realised I had it and recorded the series back in November. I still can open a new Career Mode world though. I am (for some reason) in V1.5.9.15 but it still worked in V1.5.10 for me. I am also part of the Beta Testers program on Google Play so that might affect it. I don't know how I still have it but it made this series possible so... It will eventually be released properly so then everyone will have it.

Apparently in SFS V 1.5.10 the removed Career Mode (according to the wiki). I personally had ZERO issues so maybe it only was for a certain version? I also am part of the Beta testers program so that may skew results

Actually you dont need the moon lamder pack,i just landed on the moon with some landing legs made with heatshields,it might be not practical,but it worked perfectly fine and i successfully returned to the earth

Challenge: land on moon in career mode on hard mode
That's a very good challenge! I am doing a Career Mode series but it is in normal mode. However, I am planning to do a Hard mode Career Mode series but it will take some time because I am swamped with other commitments. I will one day do it!

@@Butter332 Yeah! It is very difficult in normal mode let alone Hard mode! Plus your first engine is the HORRIBLE Peregrine Engine. One can barely reach Lunar Orbit and back, another can actually land on it. I will experiment with different techniques and tell you when it comes out!
@@usfer1308 I found a glitch with solid rocket boosters that is you turn them on and make a quick save with them on, load the quick save and you will be accelerating as if the engine is on, but it doesn’t use up fuel
Yes! I have experienced that too! Interesting glitch. It works with the Revert buttons as well! There are many possible uses for it and I'll make sure to use them with the Career Mode Hard Mode!
