Sears had an Internet presence before Amazon via Compuserve, but they were a bit early. Their demographic wasn't hip to the internet yet. Walmart spent 40 years building a base in rural areas where big retailers thought there were no profits. They avoided taking on Sears and K-Mart until they were already in decline.

I share this perspective. Makes you wonder what the future holds for humans as far as interactions within ourselves outside of technology. It’s really interesting to see how our lives have/will change(d) since the late 90’s. I truly think my generation was the last of the children who were outside regularly but still had access to Xbox’s, gameboys, N64, PS2’s, etc.

be a smart stock picker tho pick blue chip dividend stocks like apple coca cola mcdonals etc etc just companies that's already has an established names that people of all ages knew about and is willing to spend their money on that's the dividend stocks to go cause dividend stock is the greatest way to pay up your interests whilst also gaining new money for free so i think dividend stock is the only option to make money using from borrowing and it's also make more sense to buy when the market is in red line as you'll buy premium stocks at a cheap price 🤑

These are not good investments . They’re conduits where the manager is the winner with the fees on the levered assets and in a lot of cases shareholders are just receiving a lot of their own money back in contrived return of capital monthly dividends . A good example is the double whammy muni bond cefs have reaped from falling bond prices and distribution cuts because of increases borrowing costs . Think nuveen has missed any management fees ?

There is a bit of a myth about buying a CEF below the NAV at a discount. You have to look at the long term history of the share price. Some of these CEF's sell fairly consistently above or below the NAV, so you might buy at a discount, but anytime you go to sell that stock, you may very well be selling at a discount as well, or you may worry that you are buying a stock at a premium, but then you may be very likely to sell that stock later at a premium.

If you set it on drip dependent on broker. You would buy the shares at the Nav $7.05 instead of market price $7.49. Discount 6.24% Some people wait for rights offering to buy them at discount. Carbon credits is just a quasi legal fiat currency set up to make ESG Marxism possible. It’s about the control, very little to do with climate.

I have been thinking about pitching this to my bank for a personal loan. You are leveraging Dividend Stock Positions as well as offering them up as Colateral Assets at the same time. These Positions must first be at the Long Term Tax Rate of 365 days holdings with intentions to invest in those same assets. But you only start at a 10k loan. Once you get the money into your brokerage you place GTC automated Limit Orders at or around the 52 week low. The Risk management being to Average Down to the Dips and just let the Bot fill the orders. This way you have already set Your price. I Know it works because my portfolio is up 1k right now and Ive battled the worst crash in quite some time and the Dividends are still rollin in....😉

If you have the means to pay back a smaller loan, 10k or less, I'd say go for it. Its not worth it for anything bigger but a small jump start might be worth it.
