What do you use to cut the OETT once you’re done with it? Any suggested shears?
go through your manufacturer's manual first prior to doing this as some manufacturers recommend against using >= 70% alcohol on its probe especially on the lens cover
They also warn against applying tegaderms directly to the probe. The adhesive will break down the probe surface.
thank you
I hope a real video
I'm here for my APRN course :) Also WTF 87 mmHg in that young man??? Is that for real?
Where is this done?

Not only allows for active extension of the DIP, but it's an abnormal extensión, much greater comparatively to the same finger on the other hand.
Looking for a way to draw a blood culture with an US guided iv and this looks way easier
😂 what!?? Easier than using a sterile gel packet of lubricant? Or even an unopened tube? Bacterial flora lives beneath skin… just clean the skin surface, use common sense, and capture a 1.5-2 mL waste… y’all be doing the most 😅
What does her shirt say at 0:05?
Are some people allergic to this adhesive
Sorry, but I’m sure you have never seen a REAL hair tourniquet live. What you showed in the video on chicken skin, was too superficial. In reality it’s NEVER like this. It’s ALWAYS deep and you almost never can see the hair involved. And that’s because the case arrives at the doctor not the moment that it happens, but usually the day after and for this reason the toe is very red because of the inflammation. I have seen and treated at least 40 cases.
Are there any videos demonstrating how to carefully remove the ETT introducer after?
I’ve had a dislocated shoulder for about a year now, I’ve tried many things but was to no avail. I’m really disturbed now I don’t know what to do pls I’m confused... What can I do? I need your help pls...

How NOT to do it... No gloves and touching the plastic of the IV line with your finger. Train as you fight so its important to show it correct in this video
Being an older video, I'm not sure if anyone will respond. I'm doing these at home now and feel like I'm not getting the placement right. The nurse did it in the office, but I can't remember if I'm putting the swab in the right area. Any input is appreciated.
Thank you.. Literally just completed my first one in the Emergency Department 🙏🏾
