We had the chance to spend time with Guy during his period as artist-in-residence in the Town of Yountville, and we also filmed this short interview with him about his life and work. This is my uncle Kenny Harges house and he passed away years and years ago and this is a home not a business and you are trespassing on private property and I am the niece of Kenny Harges is Kelly Christine Harges and I believe you are not suppose to be on my families properties.
Hello Tracy. I'm so sorry that you can't find any happiness in seeing where your Uncle Kenny once lived. I can assure you that when we filmed this, we were not trespassing. We are professional videographers that were hired by the then-owners and their real estate agency to film that video. And you can be assured that we also obtained signed releases for filming there.
#1 That property is absolutely a-mazing! #2 The voiceover description element is brilliant, well done and well written. More agents should use that marketing strategy instead of just music which is cool to but every chance to provide more data about the property maximizes the selling exposure.
Doesn’t show how you get down to the ocean?
Lonnie the one problem with Point Dume as much as I love this house and it has a lot of warmth , character and beauty ( unlike a lot of the Malibu monstrosities that are soulless and cold ) I don't know if I trust being on Point Dume because there are some videos here of the cliff actually collapsing . I would be leery to walk around the edges of the property near the cliff and I'll bet you that's why they probably did not build any steps going down to the beach because they wouldn't hold up honestly I think that's why we didn't see any steps ... they probably couldn't build any . I think a better area in terms of safety is the Sweetwater Mesa which is right behind Pacific Cove in Malibu and that's a very famous spot with a restaurant right on the beach there and some of those homes have steps that go down to the beach . You can look at some of the videos here of parts of Point Doom crumbling and people down below were freaking out watching it . I remember one person saying look some beach chairs came down ... meaning from the property above . I'm sure those videos are probably still here on the tube .
"Mountain collapse caught on camera in Malibu Zuma Beach " is the name of the video and Zuma Beach is right next to Mount Dume ... this house is on Mount Dume . If you watch that whole video you will be surprised

i was born and raised there and left once so many people invaded our little town,,,,it's not the same little town I grew up in , it's now a mess and overcrowded ,,,sad that the natives are leaving because so many non Morgan Hillers have moved in,,,,
That's what happens in a growing country, eventually people find all the nice places and want to enjoy them
it's nothing like it was while I was growing up,,,,too many people, too many homes too much traffic,,,,Sad,,,,it was a beautiful town , not anymore,,,,
Id agree that its not the same anymore, but its basically impossible to keep a time capsule of a town in one the strongest economies in the world. Still a fairly nice town though.

The North Block Hotel looks amazing. I've been thinking about taking a trip to Napa in early September 2019. I love the town of Yountville. And this seems like the perfect place for a getaway. I'm hoping that the actual experience is as good as the video. Fingers crossed :)
0:27 Talk to any realtor selling in Morgan Hill nowadays. They'll tell you engineers and workers have been pushed out little by little to now, Morgan Hill. It's not by choice. Look at the homes on sale, they were bought in the last 1-3 years. The people can't stand the commute.

Well it's on Mount Dume ... and Mount Dume is right next to Zuma Beach ... there is a video here on the tube that shows you part of the Cliffs at Zuma Beach crumbling and going down to some parked cars and so as beautiful as this property is here that they're showing I would be a bit concerned to walk to the edge of it because maybe it is actually not safe .
