Glad you replaced the cheap factory anchor ! The factory should reconsider the ''stuff '' they put on to save a buck !
We had the Lewmar ( Bruce ) anchor on our last boat (R25) which we had good experience with as long as we were in an area that has good anchor holding characteristics. The Rocna seems to do better at holding in anchorages that have less than ideal bottoms for anchoring. Overall I think the Lewmar is a decent anchor, there’s better anchors of course, the same could probably be said for the Rocna.

You need wheels for your dinghy. If you get the big ones, when you put them down they should be lower than your propeller. Then you can motor all the way in, lift up the front and roll it up the beach. Don't get the small ones! 😂
Thanks, I typically just beach the dingy so the dog can go potty, Then I go back to the boat. I never pull the dingy on land.
@@michaelbartyzal1306 I understand, we cruised for 6 years on our Catalina 36 sailboat with two dogs. Once you get wheels and get used to using them you will love them. Just another boat buck at WestMarine.

Any other 20 something foot boat can be naturally put ot a trailer by just riding up on the trailer from the water.
They had to adjust the trailer for the boat while it was on the lift. Also no boat ramps in that immediate area.
How much does that cost these days
I’m assuming your asking about that haul out cost? If you are I have no idea, we didn’t directly pay that fee.
Have you upgraded the anchor yet ? Very important if you want to sleep when anchored out . Factory supplied anchor is a " Lunch Hook " . Have they upgraded to a Smart Plug Connector for shore hook up yet ? prevents possible connection fire .

Ranger/Cutwater need to also build boat's on the east coast. The extra cost from the west coast is crazy expensive.
As big as the Florida boating market is I’m surprised they don’t.
Not so sure about the Florida market but they’d definitely be a desirable boat on the Great Lakes where a three season boat is a big sell.

I’m suprised they don’t, I’ve heard the Florida market is the biggest boating market in the US. The new Solara by Fluid Motion (Rangers parent company) appears to be built for the SE USA market (warm weather boat).
