Silverback is an adult male gorilla.

I had one of these moments. As a child, my parents and I went to Curry Village in Yosemite, CA in the 1980’s. We stayed in the tent cabins which had no private restrooms. My Mom and I needed to use the restroom before we went to sleep. My Mom entered the restroom and selected a stall. I was right behind her and selected a stall to use. When I opened the door, there was an adolescent bear sitting on the toilet seat. I quickly and as calmly as I could closed the door and backed away. My Mom came out of the stall and looked at me. I whispered “BEAR!”. She quickly, but quietly grabbed my hand and we ran back to our cabin. That was truly scary and amazing at the same time. Great video. Thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷

Steve went to Norway to visit Tess because she's known and worked with that pack since they were young. If you're going to report things please be thorough. 🤷‍♀️

Me, while I'm hiking in Nature, there's only *one* species of beings I *really* hate meeting (since I really hate them _anyway,_ of course): *humans.* They are all cruel, ugly, nasty, sadistic, vile and disgusting. Oh, and while on it: the kind of humans that I, for one, find to be *the MOST* repulsive, are *englishmen.* Although _any_ group of humans, is a thing I normally do *my outmost BEST* to avoid. The bear that sat next to the photographer could have kill him with one swipe. I think if the photographer had not sat still, that bear might have had a much different reaction! Many times when people are caught in that dangerous situation, they smile, or laugh, some giggle. Is that a normal reaction to the danger? Sort of like laughing in church or during a very serious part of a funeral service?

Have you ever been clawed by a 5 pound pet housecat that was supposed to be tame? Imagine if a 500 pound cat got upset and clawed you.

Cheetah's are not really dangerous in the wild. I would feel more comfortable with them around than not if out in the wild. About like Orcas and don't see humans as prey. I imagine they would protect cubs if necessary.

Thank you for this very interesting and heart tugging presentation. I seem to have an affinity for the felines and would love to develop a relationship of loving trust with lions, leopards and cheetahs. I've had remarkable interactions with a black bear, deer, wild horses, racoons, opposums and various rodents. I know it's hard to believe, but there was an encounter with what I've finally learned was a curious Jaguarundi, highly elusive and reclusive animals. We just stared at each other for about 30 seconds from 7 feet away, then it went on its way. It would be prudent to warn viewers that these are very rare occurances, and the greatest of caution should be used when dealing with any wild animal. The more we learn beforehand the better, such as the animal's body language, vocalizations and other cues. Thank you to Your Top 10s, thumbs up.
