Hi Wayne,do you know where I can get a fly bridge for a 17, Wilson flyer from. Many thanks, great videos.
@user-qc8yc4hy1q sorry no. The moulds were bought but not heard a thing after that? Shame as they are still wanted. If you do see one be aware that the short cuddy version of a 17 has a flybridge with an inturned lip.. its the opposite for the 6ft cabin version.
Wayne what’s your favourite style of fishing for plaice ect at anchor or drifting cheers mate Craig
Keep try mate you never know. Thank for your channel being a local lad myself it's interesting to see what you get up to out on the boat.
Yibady yibada and thank your mother for the rabbits, dose look good as a spare bait
What about using a drogue? Wouldn’t that hold the boat steady and you’d still be at anchor if that’s how you wanted to fish?
@MobiliaRepairs tried various types of drogue in the past which to be honest haven't done the job.
@@waynecomben7142 I use them a lot at anchor kayak fishing but maybe the smaller lighter boat makes them more effective 🤷♂️
Just checked the US prices and it's not bad. Unfortunately, the prices on Amazon and eBay in the UK are silly.
Cheers Wayne, saw them American boys banging this out in the surf from the beaches and seemed to catch for sure, your the first from boat fishing this side of the pond I’m gonna say and well it does seem to work on the bream, definitely try on rays and plaice, that should be the defining experience on its effectiveness. Cheers much appreciated Wayne ✌️🙏👍
@brenlynch4811 yea I'll try it out on other species for sure.
Handy to keep a couple of packs on the boat though Wayne even if it's just an emergency bait.
Try it on its own without any other baits attracting fish. That'll give u your answer of how effective it is.
@@neilbes1 it was on its own on that particular rig..
@@waynecomben7142 I think he's saying to use ONLY the FishBites on any rig, there by not attracting the fish to the squid, worm, etc. That way you have 100% verification that the fish are into the stuff, and not looking for the real bait, but settling for the processed gear. Great session, those bream looked delicious, and great shout putting the gorgeous cock fish back, he deserved life!
@PilzE. yep realise that.. & that rod only had the artificial bait on.. I added a bit of Squid to another outfit. Wouldn't be a real test if it wasn't just the Fishbites on the test rig.
There used to be one very similar which you could buy over here, not sure they sell it anymore. The peeler crab one definitely worked 🐟🎣
works well when there is a strong scent trail from other baits plus good shoal numbers, still worth trials, maybe might be worth a try to cut the bait into a sand eel shape so that the tail will provoke an attack, just a thought.
I used it when I was in Port Aransas, and it works well so brought some back with me. I’m going to try it out next time I’m out in the boat.
wonder if the crabs like it
now thats worth finding out, we all hate being plagued by bait robbing crabs, even if helped fifty percent it would be a great help.
Ok seems to work
Good tips Wayne, have had quite a few days this year when the boat just wants to swing and like you the fishing has been poor. Nice to see what's going on with the underwater footage. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Wayne , makes a lot of sense when the camera clearly showed a ray getting twitchy and turning away . Natural tidal flow is what fish expect and react to since time in memorial. Great vid mate ✌️🙏👍
Strange how they wernt there when you needed them think we fished the same spot sac24 we fished it 2 wks b4 found some nice tope next time dead
3 days before the SAC I had 2 x 40lb Tope in 20 mins.. same spot on comp days.. el blanko!!
Great trip there. Hoping to see some mackerel and tope here too
Well done, looks like you had a great day 🎣🦈🦈🎣
Nice to see you both enjoying the Tope and having a laugh.

Better than Dodgy Fish Locker
Loverly PB there Wayne, was very fair weather too, bonus, not too many bruises!
Cheers mate.. was a good trip out.
Nice clear review Wayne, you are right plenty of guys don't know how to use TBar, I agree that one could do with being a little longer! Will pop in to see you again soon.
Look forward to seeing you soon mate.
Enjoy watching you and Graham good luck in the future.
Hi Wayne I’m thinking about a Radier 18 , the one I’m looking at is in your yard in Portsmouth with AWE on the side , if so could you tell me anything about this particular boat
