I fish Barkley and lake of Egypt a lot and in hot summer we are finding some on Egypt on Botton, in so much they have a little mud on their bellies. The only thing I can figure is the mud is cool and gives them relief from those dawg days of summer

I'll never understand spending all that money on a boat and gear just to stare at a screen.
I didn’t either back when I poured concrete for a living. Now that I fish for a living I get it.
I love crappy fishing but I have survived cancer myself but am in to bad shape to use my boat so I ended up having to sell it. but I fish from the bank every chance I get. I love rough but its hard to find places to that I am able to get to. but I will fish till I die as long as I can find a place to go. I need to know of some good places that I can get to I cant walk far and thats a problem for me.
The spillway would be my first choice.

The same way it shows at 20:02 in this video. You would run your wires out at the dash instead of at the front.

I would try a really small bait like an Outbreak. If that doesn’t work I’d go to a slip bobber and a minnow.
