I logged on just to say how great Jim Gordon sounded on this tour. He was in a good place mentally and physically and drove the band with his impeccable playing. It's so heartbreaking that after he was off the road with Jackson and left to himself that everything started to slip.

I lost my father in January this year (2024) we never say eye to eye but he was my dad..this song tell a story..

I am grieving right now, not only a death, and a lost lover, but something deeper. I can’t fully name it right now. Could it be America? Could it be so much perennial war? Could it be the planet and how we have made such as stain on it? Could it be some kind of ancient epigenetic tragedy that is inside my genome that I just innocently inherited? It’s partly about something about being alive in the moment right now in 2024. Somehow this song and the tenderness and compassion that it represents - and the sensitivity of the playing and how David Lindley makes that pedal steel cry with that distortion/edge creeping in just nails the sentiment. Thank you, you guys for playing it and for posting it.

I used to see my dad every without fail , I was a bit busy said I’ll see you soon sadly had a stroke 75 It was all over , I was devastated

My dad and were on the outs until he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. I was with him every moment of his last week. We made up, I told him I loved him and he passed away 40 minutes later. This song reminds me of the years of bickering...and for what? I miss my Dad.
